SOLO, be reasonable human and just insult for the sake of insulting. This gov't is in a mess politically and ideologically. Accept the fact that they don't have the experience and the knowhow to implement policies. In Ghana and Africa, when one has PHD he is revered as GOD and that is wrong my friend because in North America most inventions are from experienced folks. People that clean toilets and floors might sometimes better the SOLO who is envious of them with his PhD and not a penny in the pocket. Henry Ford was a mechanic, Bill Gates a dropout, Zuckerberg(Facebook fame) a dropout etc. Then you have this DINGDONG with PhD making irresponsible statements like you.

Imaging the immigration officers at the border post and Kia, custom officers, police officers and other gov't workers do all beg for money, regardless of their ethnic background. What needs to be done is to make a law santioning begging in the ghanain society.Pastening of post all-over the country indicating that receiving gift is unsocial, is one of the measures to curb the rot in the society, but this is very uneffective and has never resolved this dread social cancer. A law has to be enacted.

However, in practice, it was discovered that there is never a zero MPL in the North. And capital flight and substitution of capital intensive to labor intensive rendered the Development model un-practicable that led to this current rural urban migration. Don't blame panhandling on a particular tribe or region. Even in the Western world, in the so called land of "milk and honey"...there are panhandlers. Maybe you are OK but sometimes in life, some people through no fault of theirs reach the end of their rope and have no choice but to trade their dignity for something to eat by begging.
What would you rather have: people begging to survive or people stealing to survive? Think about that next time you go to church.
