The NDC Party has been given the mandate by the people who did not reason enough to distinguish between false promises and pragmatic policies.Their mandate to govern has been sealed by the highest court of the land even though there is a cloud of doubt that surrounds that judgment all the same the party is in control of affairs. They are using that power and mandate to sustain their party and its members only. Their kind of governace is selective. They have the power but they dont have the brains to harness the abundant resources both human and material which the good God has endowed us with. Otherwise how come raise taxes and nothing but taxes to let private businesses fold up and scare off would be investors? Did the government of the day think about repercussions in banning the secondhand refrigerators which were enviromental friendly and currently being used in the countries where for their kind of economy easily phaseout what seems to be old to them but look good to us in this part of the globe? Look at the job opportunity vacuum that this ban has created. And that since that area was zoned for houses no higher than 3 storeys he was going to order its demolition unless he sold it to him (Kufuor). Weeping and pleading Kufuor gave the Lebanese a deadline to accept the price he (Kufuor) had set or the house be demolished..

The poor Leabnese wept bitterly and found it wise to cut his losses and kufuor used the house for the Hotel de Waawaa (now African Regent Hotel). He has now set up a very viable airline:

After that Kufuor appropriated all the lands around the Tetteh Quarshie Circle. He gave a large part to his daughter to set up the ShopRite (Accra) Mall with some South African businessmen. The other parts of the lands he went into joint-venture with some the Trasaco Valley tycoon to establish the Villageois Estates.

Not satisfied, Kufuor pounced on the lands on both sides of the Accra-Tema motorway. He sold some and leased others to foreigners. Now it is impossible to expand the motorway.

Kufuor's main preoccupation was devising methods to loot government lands. Don't let me go too far into the looting of Ga lands wit the pretext of building accommodation for Ghana@50 of the forcible liquidation of the Ghana Airways in order to share its lands and buildings! I may be tempted to write volumes larger than the encyclopaedia which would bore you since we all know what happened.

It is not possible to compare JM to Kufuor - they are different animals. In fact it is like comparing goats with guinea fowls: Kufuor, a brutal armed robber using nuclear weapons whereas JM is a tiny teenage pickpocket.

I am glad the election court proceeding was shown on television for the whole world to see what kind of people running the country with support of judicial institution. These babies with sharp teeth, out of college, uneducated, unthinking, inexperienced boys, who have never had any experience in the corporate world, suddenly find themselves appointed as ministers (with no previous experience in this area of work) and behave as jokers to the embarrassment of the government, which of late, is becoming a joke in itself.

They are never objective and analytic; whenever under criticism all they tell you is kuffour did this; akuffo addo did that, npp did this and jake did that. That is their only response to any intellectual discussions about moving the country forward.

I think they have completely misunderstood why they were 'voted' into power, with the help of afari gyan, atuguba and 5 other judges. They do not understand that they were voted into power not to remind the people of ghana what kuffour did or did not do but rather to correct mistakes and improve upon whatever little they think kuffour and npp did.

Instead, we are bombarded everyday with propaganda talk, lies, damn lies and statistics, as a way of defending themselves against charges of corruption.

What Ghanaians want you to do is to get our monies back from woyome, waterville, isotofon, aa automobile, gyeeda crooks, akomfem ghost project money, tree planting money, prosecute the criminals whose hands are in it. Barton Oduro, Betty Mould, Fifi Kwetey's wife who cannot account for the 400000 in her bank account and etc.

I've been observing the on-going political situation in Ghana and feel it's time the NPP woke up and faced the challenges of time. The party seem to have lost it's grounds; there's nobody to speak on the party's behalf because of what looks like divisions or cracks caused by clever NDC "apparatchiks" before the 2008 elections.

The NDC have succeeded in destroying Nana Akufo-Addo and at the same time, split the NPP party, using the "Alan Kyeremateng" faction syndrome to make the NPP unpopular. They've cleverly used the justice system to foment their stay in govt. as well. Everyone knows what went on during the election petition at the Supreme Court and that fateful day of August 29.

Any critical observer may have noticed how the NDC is fabricating untruthful stories, to denigrate Nana Akufo-Addo, and some NPP stalwarts, using the media. Quite recently, there was a story about the sale of Ghana's drill ship, which the NDC says has links to Nana Akufo-Addo's tenure as Ghana's AG---I don't know if they'll change their claims to indicate that the sale of the ship occurred when Nana was Ghana's foreign minster. Hmmm, NDC!

This article, as we read implies that ex-Prez. Kuffour or his govt. was corrupt, compared to John Mahama. The NDC govt. has proven by their deeds, to be the most corrupt govt. in Ghana's political history. No govt. in recent and ancient times comes close to what they've achieved in terms of corruption and thievery. Yet their deputy interior minister, James Agalga isn't ashamed to sit on the airwaves and tell lies.

Here's where I get surprised at bit; the NPP, because of what seem to be some sort of confusion in their camp, seem oblivious to the fact that the NDC is using these funny story-telling tactics to erode all he support and enthusiasm and love that Ghanaians have for the party, esp. just after the election petition case at the Supreme Court. There seem to be some apathy in the party; no-one, esp. those who need stand up and defend the party. The suppression of passion stems from the fact that the NDC have succeeded in bringing on the "Alan Kyeremateng" faction syndrome, to cause an unpleasant situation in NPP camp. Then we have some leading members, like Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Dr. Apraku, Paul Afoko ect. who're making all sorts of statements that tend to cause more confusion within. The party must wake up before it's too late.

Others have been advocating against early party congress to chose our flag-bearer thinking the battle ahead will be cool and easy---2016 will be tougher than 2012 if those NPP Docs and Profs. would care to notice! When Nana, Bawumia & Co., were being lambasted, none of them stood up to defend our candidates.

If the NPP wants to win the 2016 elections, then they better start preparations right now. It's time to map out our strategies, paramount among all our plans would be to inculcate discipline, party's manifesto, philosophy and message into the grassroot members. There's no two ways about that! We must organise from the "grassroots" up and do well to monitor activities of every district coordinator. We should plan well, else we won't get anywhere.
We have often proclaimed to match the NDC "boot for boot" but seem to fall short when it comes to taking action.

The NDC continue use vile propaganda to confuse the Ghanaian electorate well ahead of the 2016 election. Let's not get pleased with our merits or achievements and strife to work hark. The battle ahead is not an easy one! And above all we must first settle our differences and unite as one great force and prepare for the battle ahead! I encourage our courageous leaders and members, like Ursular (Yaa Asantewa) Owusu, Otiko Djaba, Anthony Karbo, Mustapha Hammid to rise up and push our youth and members forward.

It's time to prepare for 2016. We shouldn't allow the NDC to destroy us. Arise faithful one of the "Osono Party" and don't allow the "Sasabonsam Party" to ruin Sikaman Ghana. Arise folks!!!!
