All Osei needed to do was to qualify his statement with "most" Ghanaian women, but generally speaking he is right. In fact, not only Ghanaian women, but for that matter most African women are just plain materialistic. What they forget is that whatever they gain out of a marriage they'll eventually also leave them behind, it's just a matter of time. So love will remain as the most important factor in a marriage. With 4 children, even if her husband was unfaithful (as she alleges) why can't she forgive him (the Bible permits divorce on the ground of adultery BUT made forgiveness an option) or if he still is, why won't she separate for the sake of the children until he can come to his senses?..She seems to know what material wealth she stands at gaining if she goes for a full divorce. She is not even thinking of her kids, if he wasn't thing of them.

You go out there and some tiny little things are forcing themselves on you, only to come home and meet a bison, that'll be scary.
