Only visitors from another planet will fail to observe the prevailing state of widespread indiscipline that is slowly turning this nation into a 'jungle',where those who scream the loudest on our airwaves always have their way. Pres Mahama should have realized by now that,"appeasement" has never been a viable solution to problems that have to be confronted head-on! Our perennially low-productivity and perfuntory labour force will never to satisfied with its already disproportionate share of the national cake. I wish many of the 'vuvuzela' groups in our public sector would take up the General`s open challenge, move to 'tort-conscious' jurisdictions around the globe ,and let`s see how many of them would survive with their lackadaisical attitude to work.

Let us resort to President Reagan's style of dealing with the striking US Air Traffic Controllers who tried to take US hostage to justify their demands...he fired them all. On the spot, no questions asked. And did it take it long before most of them came crawling back pleading for their jobs back? Some government actions may look draconian, but sometimes that is JUST what is needed to beat sense into people who want to cripple national interest.

Ghana in 1979 was only 22years into our INDEPENDENT and 1981-82 we were only 24/25years , untill the year 2001 when NPP for the first time RULED GHANA we all saw the differences between the GOATS AND THE SHEEP'S , FOLKS believed you and me PNDC/NDC has been the down fall of the GHANA' DEVELOPMENT one can argue till A MONKEY COMES HOME but I don't think anyone needs A PHD in any form to work this simple mathematics, This guys still believes and behaving as if we are under a military RULE , Forgive me if you are in NDC GOVERNMENT OR A SYMPATHIZER but I can only tell you that I am a CONCERNED GHANAIAN CITIZEN and do not belong to any POLITICAL PARTY but regardless living abroad haven't no vote yet but any given chance I will vote out NDC and I think many GHANAIANS would do same, I think GHANA needs A LEADER WITH A VISION/CONVICTIONS not a LEADERS who just want to hold on to the POWER FOR A POWER SAKE,

A fireman is at the station house working outside on the fire truck when he notices a little boy next door. The little boy is in a little red wagon with little ladders hung off the side. He is wearing a fireman's hat and has the wagon tied to a dog.
The fireman says "Hey little boy. What are you doing?"
The little boy says "I'm pretending to be a fireman and this is my fire truck!"
The fireman walks over to take a closer look. "Little boy that sure is a nice fire truck!" the fireman says.
"Thanks mister", says the little boy.
The fireman looks a little closer and notices the little boy has tied the dog to the wagon by its testicles. "Little boy", says the fireman, "I don't want to tell you how to run your fire truck, but if you were to tie that rope around the dog's neck I think you could go faster."
The little boy says, "You're probably right mister, but then I wouldn't have a siren!"
