The salary of a college graduate in the 60's was ¢1360 per year. But this was enough to live a middle income lifestyle with a car. Three times that amount cannot even rent a decent "chamber and hall" room in Accra. Some of our elders made sacrificed fir the country but it was the same elders that created the culture of corruption that has bedeviled the country since the 60's.

In my very personal opinion Ghana needs people like Nunoo Mensah who can say what need to be said without fear because many foolish Ghanaians have failed to question Kufour of the mess he smartly left Ghana in for introducing the SSSS, the single spine salary structure when he was aware that he left the nation's economy in a deficit, NOT CREDIT yet while leaving office he, Kufour raised salaries almost four times and left the implimentation of the SSSS for the incoming government of Atta Mills and Mahama to carry the mess.

The wise Ghanaian will ask where is the money that Kufour left in the coffers to fulfill the increment for the workers. Nunoo Mensah is right because where is the intelligence of the schooled Ghanaian workers or they are [villagers or fishermen who have not enjoyed the education they had]

If the educated ones fail to understand the economy and thus want to politicise our situations and cause trouble then who can understand what need to be understood.

Kufour's wicked mind for Akuffo Addo and Atta Mills/ Mahama;-- Kufour wanted to be seen as the best president of Ghana. In my understanding Kufour had eight [8] solid years to rule Ghana. He should have introduced the [SSSS] single spine salary structure within the 8 years and impliment it for the workers to know that he Kufour had increased their salaries and had therefore done well but he failed to impliment it and wickedly introduced it at his last year and run away because in his mind, if Akuffo Addo won the election then Akuffo Addo will have difficulties in managing the economy likewise Atta Mills/Mahama, and this is what we are all experiencing today.

The wicked and evil man against Ghana today is Kufour not Mahama or Nunoo Mensah. Bravoo Nunoo Mensah for building [9] nine unit classroom blocks for O'reilly Senior High School. Your contribution is perfect, since this good work for education will talk about you always. My question to those abusing you, is they have nothing to show. You are a winner.

Atta Mills implemented it against all odds. Presently all government revenue are used to pay only about 50,000 workers. The TUC, GBA, GMA NAGRAT thanks to their leadership, have all become political opponenets of the rulling government. We were all in this country, apart from NAGRAT the rest never saw anything wrong with the NPP government from 2001 to 2008. They did not see corruption, nepotism, selective justice and cocaine and drug connected with NPP government. Today they have eyes. I am sorry the real and suffering Ghanaians know the hypocrites and real workers leader. We have so many graduates looking for jobs, offer them those and we shall see. They workers are taking all Ghanaians for a ride. Government must sit up.

The Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration has been a humongous failure, and the needed solutions to address the myriad of problems is non-existent. Ghanaians cannot afford to carry this burden of a non-achieving, non-performing and looting gov't on it's shoulders anymore. The Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration have reached the end of the rope, and they need to vacate gov't for a fresh set of hands to take over the governance of the country.
