His excellency has hit the nail on the head. From all indications the regulations of the United Nations Security Council appear to obselete in relation to the happenings in the world today. They were particularly conceived in the context of inter-state conflict, but those times have passed and the world is now mainly dealing with intra-state wars. I support this call by a former head of state of one of africa's most serious countries (Ghana). Ghana all the way!

The concept of "human rights" should be redefined to exclude allowing the concern to include certain non-conventional and generally controversial behavioural practices such as homosexuality which Westerners are forcing on African countries and communities that find such practices obnoxious.

The Security Council permanent members just do not want to have the council reformed.The only language they will understand is non-co-operation from the General Assembly members which i believe is what they have to do now.General Assembly members should also refuse to comply with Security Council resolutions until they agree to have the council reformed.The Securtiy Council is only serving the interest of its permanent members and have failed to prevent war and conflicts in the world.In some instances they have encouraged and supported wars and conflicts.And for 65 years it has not been able to resolve the palestinian issue.
