Every year, fire burns acres of Australia and western part of of the US due to the high arid conditions.

In all these not a single Australian or American will blame their respective govts for that.

Yet in Ghana, the ruling govt is always blamed for setting fires in markets - what a warped thinking.

Common sense will have it that a ruling govt would not do things to discredit itself, so is unlikely to pay others to burn markets.

The combined votes of the Konkomba market and Agbogbloshie markets is over 30,000, and it is the threat posed by these votes that have prevented the NDC and NPP govts fro ejecting these squarters from the site,despite the grant of a world bank loan to drain the korle lagoon. Maybe Gen Nunoo Mensah needs to wade in here too.
