Appiah Ofori do not think that you are dealing with children and that you tell Ghanaians anything and it will be accepted.Nunoo Mensah knows why he made the statement that the NPP is behind the current spate of strikes in the country and a lot of Ghanaians believe it to be true.He says he is ready to prove it at the appropriate time and I want the NPP to challenge him to prove it.Just saying what he has said is not true is not enough.Remember in Africa the opposition is always destructive and having regard to what the NPP has said that it will make things difficult for Mahama's government the Brigadier's statement sounds vey true.

Is it for the many who have already sacrificed and many more who are dying sacrificing unnoticed? Why did Nunoo-Mensah leave NPP? Was it not because his sacrifices were not being recognized and rewarded? Now he is being taken good care of so he is vociferating and professing sacrifice? Let Mahama sacrifice his salary which can pay more than ten of those who taught and made him, and all of us will spontaneously join the fray and frenzy of sacrifing to build the country. Let your crusade against corruption be clear in every area of your politics. When workers are paid for not been at work, is it not amounting to corruption in a different way?

Nunoo Mensah being the centre of your criticism is out of reality because he is bold to hit the nail correctly, a step that you Appiah Ofori can not travel to that level of boldness, a style of open talk that Ghanaians need to hear. For even the bible say ''open rebuke is better than secrect love'' The General had been very open, and that is the best that we need now because Ghana is like a child withoout parents/guardian.

About the statement of Nunoo Mensah that the NPP is behind the strike. Why is Appiah Ofori expressing doubts over that accusation? Listen, as follows

It is very clear because when and where have the NPP come out open to advise the workers to exercise patience over the payment of their salary allowances which came out increment of workers salaries, of the SSSS single spine structure policy that Kufour introduced before leaving office with a deficit economy. Appiah, were you not aware of the DEFICIT ECONOMY Kufour left?

I quite remember you were anti corruption crusader, I doubt if you are still championng that course since pressure from Ghanaians make people do away with their good initiated ideas. Appiah you also had it tough with Kufour's leadership over many wrong polices, eg VODAFONE etc

You are an Accountant if not mistaken, this could have helped you to disagree with the policy of the SSSS that Kufour introduced and never implemented it but left it on the shoulders of the incoming Atta Mills/Mahama govts to struggle with its implementation. What we see today is the fruits of its implementation. What are you saying to the NPP and the workers? Big shame!!!!

When have you and the NPP come out with your big mouth to advise the workers that they should have patience because this headache of the economy is partly caused by your party NPP's introduction of the SSSS.

The question is why are you pretending in accusing Nunoo Mensah that it is highly impossible for any political group to have drive labour unions to team up against government by embarking on strikes. Appiah you are only a politician who choose to talk but you are really inmature politically. This is why Ghana problems will never come to an end.

Two people do have a child; if the child wants shoe from the father, and the father asked the child to be patient and he continues with threats that he won't clean the house anymore. If the mother sits down unconcerned and the child continues with the pressure, what will one say about the mother in this scenario? Every wise person will surely blame the mother that she is happy with the child's action.

A good mother will open the mouth and ask the child to have patience for the father, so that if the father's salary is increased then the shoe would be bought for him. Listen this is national matter, not a village issues that some of you from villages react sluggishly in tackling it.

Have the NPP including you Appiah the big mouth for nothing,
played a good part in advising the workers to exercise patience? There is certainty that the workers will be paid in the very near future as the situation improves, so is there anything wrong when they are asked to be patience?

You are all foolish politicians for nothing. Politics is not a thing of fight, but it is about managing a nation as the definition of politics states and I quote;- Politics is the science or art of contolling or directing the affairs of a nation.

At this point I choose to leave you here since it is a pity that the whole nation of ours is full of mice, only in politics to destroy not to help build. The General said it right.

Did they refer to the schools Nunoo Mensah built for Ghanain children for free when Akomea, Ursula Owusu etc are lambasting him? Shama shame unto all these mice in politics.

Just before the elections of December, 2012, it was reported that Brigadier-General Nunoo-Mensah, accompanied by former president JJ Rawlings had gone to Agona Nsaba in the Central Region to open a six-room classroom block out of his own pocket. This past week we hear of the same Nunoo-Mensah opening a nine-room block at O'Reilly secondary school, also from his own pocket. Besides the arrogant and insulting words coming out of his mouth concerning government workers, one must wonder where these funds are coming from. For all I know he could not possibly have made any meaningful savings from his salary and pension in the armed forces, nor from his salary as a national security advisor. As a public figure, Ghanaians need a full explanation of the source or sources of these monies and also how much these school blocks cost to build. These are relevant questions. We deserve to know the answers to them.
