  When it comes to politics,Ghanaians are pathetically illiterate and that is why we have ineffective governments time and again.It is due to promises of better way of governing that political parties win elections.However when that party fails to deliver,their ONLY way of defense is to compare their failure to the very party they defeated after claiming they have better ideas and solutions during their electioneering campaign.What the people of Ghana fail to ask the current administration is this:Who is in charge ,the opposition party or the government of the day?This issue applies to any political party in power.Ghanaians need to decide what is more important,blind party loyalty or national interest.It is this lack of political savvy on the part of the electorate that will always allow politicians to take us for a ride.We have ourselves to blame.

  A clear and conscious minded Ghanaian will just tell you of the frustration and the display of the ''village mentality'' mind that drives Akomea of the NPP, and thus displaying and proving publicly his inexperienced knowledge of politics.
  
  The fullfilment of political promises goes with time, and the smart, intelligent and knowledgeable citizens of Ghana will even be wondering if something is wrong with the mind of Akomea, simply because those conscious citizens will ask of the time that Mahama came into power, and even considering the good 8 months spent at the court during the petition.
  
  Akomea and the NPP were there for 8 years, and people had patience for them and what they did and told us were good is what is coming out now full of disgrace with the mentioning of the drill ship deal saga with monies that could not be found.
  
  What a disgrace, and I think at present if there is any real and tangible issue to be resolved inorder for the NPP team including Akomea to be strong in their comments of accusing Mahama led government, it should then be the giving of good answers to the mystery of the millions of dollars that ought to be accounted for in link to the drill ship, of which involveed the NPP gurus of the party namely Akuffo Addo, Kufour, K T Hammond etc.
  
  Akomea should not rush on Mahama government, because if time is the issue then Mahama has the upper hand to solve things for the nation, only the NPP should not undermine his good efforts by suporting the troubled workers who are educated enough to be aware of our national ecnomical woes which needs time to get it solved by the help of God who takes good care of our dear nation and has thus started exposing all the wicked and evil practises that are related to the judgement debts starting from from 1992 till today.

  I am a civil servant but I refused to participate in the recent strikes because my personal enquiries revealed that the npp are behind the whole exercise just to make the sitting government unpopular in the eyes of Ghanaians. what convinced me most in this allegation is the fact that almost all our leaders are sympathizers of the elephant party. most of them hold key positions of the npp. even the general secretary of the medical doctors association is also a card bearing member of the elephant party. they are all inciting us against the sitting government so that their political party will have the chance to come back again and continue looting our state coffers. shameless people.
