Nii Ayikoi Otoo, please, you are a Presidential material so do not rush for that position. Those rogues in the NPP who think the party belongs to Asantes and Akyems will get the shock of their lives comes 2014. It is time for the Party to demonstrate a NATIONAL CHARACTER. Right now it is the turn of the GAS, and three NORTHEN REGIONS to select their Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates. My choice is BAWUMIA and Nii Ayikoi Otoo or the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Kufuor Administration, also a GA. If the VC of Legon is interested we will go for him. Asantes and Akyems must FORGUTTABUTIT. There will be a split in the party if this warning is ignored. Be ready for a shocker. Thank you. REMEMBER 1979?

I cannot but agree with you the more. I am shocked to read this coming from no less a person than Ayikoi Otto, who is one of the respected elders in that party. What stops Ayikoi Otto from engaging the elders of their party including the former President and the recent past Presidential candidate and impressing on them the need to change direction instead of coming public with this damming assertion which can only go to benefit their opponents in the political arena,knowing well that the same assertion had been the propaganda of the NDC employed to assuage the voters against NPP knowing well too, ofcourse, that the assertion is not completely true? Could it be that Mr. Otto has no confidence in himself winning the position he is striving for in that party and for that matter has started preparing the minds of people to sympathize with him in the event of a loss? If that is the case, then it most unkind on the part of Mr. Otto and can then only be seen as a saboteur and a party wrecker!
