A youth group, Northern Youth for Peace and Development (NYUPED), has strongly kicked against President Mahama’s decision to appoint Dr. Charles Jebuni, as acting Chief Executive of the Savanna Accelerated Development Authority (SADA).

President Mahama over the weekend appointed the Authority’s Chief Technical Advisor, Dr. Charles Jebuni, as acting Chief Executive pending the appointment of a substantive head.

Speaking on XYZ News on Monday, Executive Director for NYUPED, Prince Hardi Adams, said the appointment of Dr. Jebuni as the acting head of SADA is a disastrous decision by the presidency.

According to him, Dr. Jebuni has been part of SADA since its inception and its failure could largely be attributed to him.

He noted that “SADA has already failed” and President Mahama’s decision to appoint Dr. Jebuni will completely kill the programme.

Mr. Hardi warned that the youth of Northern Region would stage a demonstration if Dr. Jebuni is not changed within the next 48-hours.
