NPP paa, is this a joke? Akufo Addo would have made a very excellent President, however, circumstances just does not make it possible. Presenting him in 2016, NPP would loose, and in 2020, whoever would be presented would loose again, because of the lack of marketability. It's important for NPP to come together at this time and marshal everything they have got to push a new candidate, to clinch 2016. Two and a half years is a very long time to do this effectively, if they took the advice to work on their grassroots mobilization effort. The Akufo Addo brand has assumed a different status, and it needs to be protected. NPP, find the right candidate and put everything you have behind the candidate, and you would take 2016.

I have said this just after August 29, when the Supreme Court, led by Justice Aguguba read that dubious verdict to "rubber-stamp" fraud and cheating in Ghana's elections, and that allowed John "Aplanke" Mahama the privilege to stay on to power, that Nana Akufo-Addo shouldn't abandon the idea of contesting for President in 2016, given the fact that Ghanaians have now seen for themselves the kind of rot and fraud that's been going on in our elections. Judging by public demands and out-cry, Nana cannot disappoint Ghanaians; he has no choice but to contest in 2016. For what Ghanaians have seen, he's the right candidate for NPP in the next elections.
