Agreed, the assets of the accused should be frozen pending the outcome of the criminal prosecutions. If that is not done IMMEDIATELY the allegedly offending parties will either run, or enjoy the loot until the Fast Track court has concluded the case. Perhaps sometime in the next decade.

Ghanaians seem to be in a race to get rich quick because all everyone cares about is to build a mansion and drive in a porsh SUV. People living in the diaspora learn too quick that this route usually lands one in jail. In Ghana, we give you a medal. Just take the Alfred Woyome case where the A-G's office blatantly refused to open defence and share in the booty. Woyome has supporters who do not see that their "phillantropist idol" milked the state of resource which could have been used to benefit all. The Subah IT company corruption saga is now fresh but just like the GYEEDA corruption case, it will be hashed under the carpet after the noise dies down.

Corruption is embbeded in our social fabric where office holders are automatically expected to be phillantropists. This expectation leads to a get-rich-quick mentality and the end result is to milk the nation's resource and the poor get poorer, forced to accept t-shirts and GHS 10 to vote for corrupt politicians into offices. The cycle then continues!

there should be a deeper look into all foreigners with residence and work permits even some have our passports. officials involved should be jailed and their assets frozen, I mean this is a matter of national security.
