No matter how we all may individually feel or think about Presient Rawlings, we know he is not corrupt. President Rawlings developed a likeness for those who worked hard and were not corrupt in his Govt and he did not mince words about the Corrupt ones in his Govt.

The one reason why Corruption Seems as though it is the CLARION CALL of this current Govt. is that EVERY person who was liked by Rawlings because of their Integrity and Hard Work has been labeled a Rawlings' 'BOY' who cannot be trusted and must therefore be kept out of the Govt and not be given any position whatsoever. Their reasoning is that information would be leaked to Rawlings by such persons.

Then you ask youselves, what information are they so afraid will be leaked to Rawlings?

In fact what is going on saddens my heart. Some of us want ONLY ONE THING: Ghana to succeed and Prosperity for all.

Mahama may claim to not know about these crooks around him. President Rawlings said it in Tamale and I am sure he will be more than happy to give Mahama names of some of these bad nuts.

I find it very difficult to believe that Mahama has bought into this 'KEEP THE RAWLINGS BOYS OUT' mentality. Mahama may find out rather late that none of those kept out is a 'Rawlings Boy'. They are the most decent Men and Women who have what it takes to help any Govt succeed.
They happen to have been endeared to Rawlings because of their style of Public Service, their fortitude and their ABHORRENCE of Corruption in their own small corner when they were in Govt.

Ghanaians deserves this mess, because they elected a government that is cluesless about the problems facing the country let alone solving the problem.
Untill we get out of the habit of injecting triabilism into minds when election time comes, we would be in this mess for a long time to come.
Firstly, we have some corrupt elements in Government, whose goal is loot our national coffers.
Secondly, we have the imcompetent ones who just want to be appointed into positions to collect allowances and do nothing.
The first initiative that needs to be taken towards salvaging this sinking ship (the Ghanaian economy), is to get government out of the way of busines, encourage competition among firms operating in the private sector.Also we have to look at retraining programs to help equip the unemployed with the neccessary skills to contribute to economic growth.
We are paying too much attention to things that are not helping us, ie,this SADA project, where the financial inputs can not be properly monitored and accounted for let alone measuring the achievement.My point is not to discourage developement projects up North, we need to prioritize considering the fact that our resources are limited.
Our educational systems, needs attention, in terms of infrastructure and man-power.Teacher training must be prioritize, incentive to attract manpower to this noble profession must as well be prioritize.
For business to flourish, we need a fair and transperent tax system and the penalty for evading tax must be steep.Even when caught and impose payment plan must be made couple with interest.
Parliament must effectively play its supervision role over government agencies and co-operate with government to ensure that state agencies designed to regulate service organization functions effectively.
The Statistical Board needs its independence so is the Central Bank.
Ghana our million mile journey starts now, we are way behind.

1. In my opinion the 1st leadership of Ghana did not set up say a Commission whose responsibility was to accept innovative Thesis from the Universities for their Study to make recommendations to govt for Financial assistance to produce the said items.
2.Some of the Lectures at the Universities are full of jealousy of the Students and therefore do not bring out those breakthrough Thesis out in absence of the Commission mentioned above.I mean no effort is made by the School authority to look for someone to fund or sponsor it's production.
Every Student coming out of the University is given an assignment.Where are those Thesis.

Ghana cannot have a gov't that would steal the national kitty dry, enrich themselves and use some to persecute an election process to remain in power at all cost, to further steal, loot and plunder the national kitty, and turn around to clamour for patience from right thinking and well meaning Ghanaians. Such a gov't cannot turn around and introduce more taxes, hike taxes, remove subsidies, increase tariffs all geared towards filling the national kitty, for their forward and further onslaught on the national purse via thievery and expect Ghanaians to have patience, whilst they plunder the national kitty senselessly, and with such reckless and wanton abandon, like there's no tomorrow. This is the time for Ghana's version of the Arab spring, to send a resounding message to the thieving, recklessly corrupt, incompetent and immutably inept NDC team of Mahama/Amissah Arthur that, enough of the looting, enough of the thievery, enough of the mismanagement, enough of the cronyism, enough of the cover up, enough of the corruption, enough of the escalating standard of living, enough of the hardships, enough of the stagnation and retrogression that has engulfed all spheres of governance, under this NDC gov't of John Mahama/Amissah Arthur team. Ghana deserves better if not the best. This is not the kind of governance they voted for and they need change now. Boys abr3, girls abr3 of the "akayida" terrorist corrupt thieving politicians sending the country into the doldrums. The status quo is completely untenable and change must come now.
