He forcefully created 45 new constituencies only to benefit the thievery NDC party because that is the only way he could steal in the election without being caught. Now there is no money to pay the workers, better yet, these parliamentarians have worked for only two months but got paid for ten months. How can a leader be so so stupid? Jon Mahama is a thief and a fool, that is why the nation is suffering. I remember a whole lot of prominent individuals and institutions advised Afari Odwan to stop creating the 45 new constituencies but this fool will never listen. And I wonder why that idiot is still at post, for whatever reason because even Atuguba reaffirmed that stupid idea of jon thief Mahama and Afari Odwan only to retain the thief on the seat of the presidency.

What do you mean by 'shut down' here?. Please don't copy USA blindly.Simply, gov't workers were forced out of work and stay at home WITHOUT PAY ,they were not on strike but conditions prevailing at that time.

Do they have vision? Do they have foresight?

A country which only need about 100 or 120 Parliamentarians; is now hosting 275 MPs and Government is complaining that there is no money to pay workers. Oh God save Ghana from the hands of these visionless leaders.

I like what Joe Baidoo Ansah says. It is a step in the right direction and makes a lot of sense Ghanaians are also capable when given the opportunity. Its time we spent on our local rather than always looking for some other.

copy cat. what kind of shut down? the federal government of USA had to shut down because they would not raise the debt ceiling to allow expenditure beyond previously approved budgets. we are talking about two extremely different scenarios. One was being more prudent and cautious in its expenditure although they can get the funds, and the other one may be able to continue working, over spend, and even steal for private use while they have very little. the latter can borrow, borrow, and borrow from which they would steal and nobody can do anything
