We should treat them like any human being. Loads of Ghanaians has travel to other countries without proper documents. when they arrest us working illegally they don't parade us like this. In UK and Germany I know some people who were given papers after their arrest.

Ghana must be the most humane place on earth, here are a group of illegal criminals who have shown total disregard for law and order, they have been stealing our natural resources, destroying our ecosystems, and raining insults on our security forces, yet none of them are wearing handcuffs, they all look happy and touristy in the picture.

When Ghanaians are caught doing the same thing, they are usually photographed in handcuffs and sitting in dirt, Mr. OSBON, your brains have gone to the dogs, in the US, illegals are chained like animals, thrown in jails, beaten and sometimes killed in prison cells, not for illegal mining, but for being in the country illegally, what planet is this OSBON clown living on.

There's a distinct difference between being in a country without proper documents, and being in a country illegally and having the audacity to steal the country's natural resources and showering insults at the government's security forces. If they had tried this stunt in the US, those attempting to escape would have been shot and killed in the river. Even in South Africa they may have been shot and killed.

None of these criminals bore any marks of physical abuse. Ghana is unmatched regarding human rights.

The other day, two Chinese guys were paraded in front of cameras for stealing two cobs of corn. Human beings need to be treated with dignity and respect whether they are in the country legally or not.

Africans working illegally every corner of the globe are sometimes arrested and deported, but hardly do you see them being paraded in front of the camera like what is going on in Ghana. And at the end of the day, these people will not even deported but pay bribes to the officials and set free.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate in the 2012 election, Nana Akufo-Addo has stated that considering the current economic situation in the country under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, “the NPP remains the only hope for Ghanaians.”

“I am sure you all know what is happening in Ghana. The mismanagement of the country’s economy has left the economy in disarray” he said.

Addressing hundreds of Ghanaians during the second anniversary of the Nana Addo Ladies Club, in the United Kingdom (UK), Nana Akufo-Addo admonished members of the New Patriotic Party “to do everything possible to win back political power in 2016.”

Because, “in an era where poverty has kept many children outside the classroom, there is a need for the NPP to come to power so that we can implement the free public school education to enable children to go to school.”

I think the Common Sense approach should have been employed. For example,the machine should have been confiscated and donated to the Polytechnic Institutions or the Universities in the Country for their Study and also to improve upon it,with permission from the original designer,author,or owners.
I"m saying that because, I suspect the machines were designed by the ordinary wayside people we refuse to recognize and respect simply because they don't hold a University degree or did not have Education beyond Form 4 or JSS. The other timeTextiles were ceased from market Women only to be

Deporting these illegal miners is not the issue,find how they entered the country,who employed them, their local contacts, who was harbouring them,who was paying them,and finally their local contact.Those found to have broken any of our laws should be dealt with severely according to our laws and then deport them after.The local dealers or representatives should face long term prison sentences.I am told most of these illegal miners were prisoners in their countries who were set free on condition they left their respective countries to travel abroad.Some chose to travel to Ghana without any documents.
