Societe Generale knew there are fools in Ghana led by fools in the presidential office and in parliament and having known through their embassy in Ghana that Ghanaians are used to bribery and corruption they tried to stick Ghana with a claim. I could give a damn who caused the financial loss. Tsikata could have caused financial loss to Ghana if that is what you and the parrots in NPP want to sing. The problem is that Tsikata and his crew defended the claim in two courts and beat Societe Generale. Their third bite at the apple was ongoing in the UK when Kufour and the NPP took over. Do you think people in the US courts do not know better or equal to those in the UK courts? Societe Generale knew that sooner or later someone in Ghana would take a bite laced with side kick funds and at last Kufour's men took it. Kufour and his attorney general then sent Tsikata to jail to keep fools quite because someone, Tsikata, has been punished for the phantom loss.
For a whole lot of fools to sit in Ghana and accept the claim by Societe Generale that they do not have documents on this issue because it’s been 10+ years is to know why Ghanaians are simple minded. Societe Generael has records that go back to the time of its formation, who was instrumental in the organization but clowns in Ghana who have something to hide wants to accept the bull shit coming from Societe Generale, K.T. Hammond and others in the NPP who had a piece of over US$5 million that cannot be accounted for or explained away. It is about time most in the NPP and NDC grew some brains and stopped this nonsense of one thief being better than another thief from the opposing political party.

Remember, the article talks about 'see attached', that is where the bomb itself is. Why quickly jail Tsatsu then when he could have also easily negotiated for probably a lesser than $10 million? The answer is simple; to pave way for the rot (kickbacks)that is now haunting all those in the circle. Greedy and selfish beings who call themselves leaders.

Kwaku Baako and Kwesi Pratt have made themselves the yardstick to measure the intelligence of 24 million Ghanaians and want to dictate for us what's good and bad. It's high time they shut up and stop telling us what they don't know.
NPP doesn't have any good plan for Ghanaians and we saw how corrupt JA Kufour government was. They are now telling NDC of being corrupt while they are rather corrupt. At the end of the day, the future generation will be the witness.

The facts are indisputable: 1. That GNPC under Tsikata went into a hedging agreement with SG . 2. That the Drill Ship was used as collateral. 3 . That the deal fell through and GNPC under Tsatsu had incurred a debt of 40M Dollars plus an accrued interest of $7M. 4. That there was a court process initiated. 5. That the Kuffour government decided to restructure and make GNPC go back it's core function and to mitigate it's loses. 6. That this saga was taken out of court and negotiated. 7. That they managed to beat the debt down from $47M to $19.5M, and $1M legal fees. SG knows they were paid. Now the question that must be asked are, 1. Why was the hedging needed? 2. Why did Tsatsu mortgage the Drill Ship? 3. Why was KT Hammond the one to lead the negotiation? 4. Where is the remaining $3.5M?

I have stated several times on this website that Kan-Dapaah knows more than he is letting out.

Kan-Dapaah acted as the lead dog in the Kufuor administration who attacked Tsatsu Tsikata's actions in connedtion with the transaction involving the drill ship D511.

Kan-Dapaah's attack was meant to throw sand in the eyes of Ghanaians while the proceeds from sale of the ship disappeared.

We need to dig deeper until we find out what happened to the proceeds from the sale of the drill ship.

Who is more corrupt Kufuor & Co or the NDC guys.
