With this attitude of politicians, I would not be surprised if State Transport and Merchant Bank are bought at prices that are far lower than how previous buyers were willing to pay for them. If this continues, the masses will rise up against politicians once they get a leader as charismatic as Rawlings in the near future. I am disappointed in Jake.

The Supreme Court has indeed set a very bad precedent by its ruling and thus done a great disservice to mother Ghana. Jake Obetsebi Lamptey may be a happy man today for being in possession of that government property but must always think of what that singular act has cost the nation.

It is time for us as a nation, to erase that notion, that we enter into politics with the sole aim of making personal gains. A stitch in time saves nine.
