Most, of course not all though, are simply thugs in uniform, worse than the criminals the honest ones arrest and are put in jail.The service needs to be disbanded and fresh and honest recruitment done with the re-engagement of only those above board who are known to the communities in which they operate or serve.

The church was disturbing the peace of residents in the area with their late knight open air church service. So the residents organize themselves and went to demand a halt to the service so they can enjoy the knight in peace when numerous requests by residents to the pastor to minimize the noise were ignored and the police will not help either. These pastors must stop the unnecessary noise making open air church services at night.

Why do we like jumping the line of authority to higher places to address our problems or make a complaint. Attah Akyea as a lawyer should follow the legal process on behalf of his client being it criminal or civil to deal with the problem uncounted. Yes, it is nice to bring this to the notice of the Police body dealing with such situations but to go to the IGP and the Minister of Interior sounds like he is ignoring to bring the matter to the attention of the people at the initial levels i.e jumping the process and procedures this is how corruption dives into our society because we don't like to follow procedures but always we know some 'big mna' somewhere who could either take quick actions as a favour on our behalves. Atta Akyea must respect the rules of law including the processes.
