We should not blame a Hotel proprietor for renting a room to a Guest.
The best solution would be to hunt down the Ghanaian Authorities who allow the people to pass by in the first place. But that is "demanding too much". We don't 'prevent', therefore have to apply spectacular means to 'cure'. At least for a while. The arrested people only have to refresh their bribes, so that Judges will also enjoy their share.

Do clients fill in the registration book at the Amonoo Royal Hotel? This book requires information on the client, the work to be done in Ghana and the immigration statuses of the client. Has Ben Amonoo reported the presence of illegal miners in his hotel to the security forces? If he has not then he should be charged with harbouring illegal immigrants and aiding illicit work. 2. Areas of known NDC strongholds like the Prestea,Hunivalley, Nzima, Kenyasi etc are not touched by the Taskforce
3. No follow up to the areas evicted
4. Process of creating jobs by the government is very, very slow

Is the minister a trained security agent? is he a police officer or an army person? There seems to be some confusion among our leaders about what they exactly their job descriptions are. The minister is not trained to arrest criminals or to supervise a potentially dangerous arrest situation like this. He could have been shot or endangered the lives of others. A minister should allow the respective security agencies do their job and do his without interfering with theirs. He could have been outside the hotel at a safe distance while the police went in to professionally do their job. Our taxes don't pay ministers to hold AK47s.

Do this reporter wanted to tell us Ghanaians that the Hotel in quetion and its staffs doesn't know what these foreigners who were arrested do each day since the time they lodged at the Hotel?
