  Monitoring the operations of the NBFIs is equally important so the BoG should not only focus on the capital requirement criterion for licencing them. In the monitoring process the manpower position of the NBFIs must also be well scutinizing the ensure that qualified personnel with the requisite financial and credit managent know-how are in place. These and other other measures would help in streamlining their operations so as to protect the public from unscrupulous deals of the NBFIs.
