  It is going to be very challenging for different political economies with different central banks to be administered with a common currency.
  
  If all the economies are equally or seemingly strong, the idea of a common currency would be fine.
  
  Otherwise, the weaker economies would have no room to manipulate their monetary policy to strengthen their respective economy, unless the stronger economies would be willing to compromise for devaluation or manipulation of the common currency in the interest of the weaker economies.

  Nkrumah is a good man and you do not understand. Obstacles are crossable if yu have A WILL. People have gone to sace by overcoming obstacles and you canot intergrate because of common currency?

We want the political leaderships to show their will power and do proper analysis about the situation. Can this issue be laid before analysts for proper scrutiny and subsequent strategic options? The implementation of eco will enhance the global development of the sub-region
