A bird whispered in my ear that lately some of our precious women in Ghana have come to believe that marriage is an "act of convenience". That means you come in when you want, and leave when you want (and that only relates to a few of our 21st Century ladies). Well, I wish them well. But if Henrietta should lose the case or not get all she had hoped for, some other ladies would reconsider their positions when getting married to OR deciding to divorce their SPORTS husbands.

The is only an interim support order,that is usually set on a monthly basis to maintain the estranged spouse(usually the wife)in the position she has become "accoustomed to".
This is where John Mernsah can literally be taken to the cleaners,if he has been very generous with the Mrs,by showering all the good things on life on her, prior to the brouhaha.
The best option for is to push for a speedy amicable settlement and to avoid the usual 'venom' that accompanies disputes of this nature.
This is certainly a bonanza for the 'palimony' attorneys who have a tendency to stoke the burning 'fires'.

Fellow readers and contributors, we Ghanaians have one big problem which stares us in the face EVERYDAY! We always want to listen to other people's negative stories without thinking for one second that it can happen to us.

What we read in the papers, hear on the radio, and see on TV are real stories which happened to others and that should serve as a white cane to the blind. Mrs Mensah has surely heard of numerous sportsmen including Tiger Woods' marriage fall apart. And as I stated earlier, thought she was superman and is therefore untouchable. Let me please use this opportunity to tell you how those telecom companies make money in this country. GOSSIP! Our women (my wife is a culprit) spend too much airtime talking rubbish and unnecessary stuff about relatives who eat at restaurants instead of at home or, a colleague in the office whose husband brings her takeaway every lunchtime. If I'm wrong, somebody should please write back and disagree. This democracy. but please no insults (lol). How many men in Ghana have not of women cheating on their husbands. They will discuss it among themselves, without thinking for a moment that their wives are human and can be tempted into infidelity. What happened to the blind man's white cane? I'm sorry to say this but love does not exist anymore if we are to always listen to other people's stories and learn lessons from them. We automatically become suspicious of each other. Love is now conditional. No money, no proper love. The genuine love at times comes from women who have either gotten past their prime, are bringing up bastards and need a father for their kids or, is a divorcee who would wish to shame her detractors/enemies and maybe has learned her lesson.
