  Signing an agreement with a white man is like signing your soul away. Ask the Natives of North America what the treaties they signed with the White man has led them to. Do you remember the Bond of 1844, the Structural Adjustement Programs, etc.? Many African countries are on the verge of a take off, while Europe is in a mess. This EPA will frustrate Africa's manufacturing ambitions and development, among other things.
  
  Africans should look for alternative markets. Namibia has refused to sign and has found new markets for its beef in Zimbabwe, Angola, China and even Iran.
  
  Africa should trade less with Europe. There are over 2.5 billion people in China and India alone. Africans can sell more of their oil, cocoa, coffee and and local manufactures to them. Intra-African trade should also be expanded. Africa must re-orient itself from the West.
