It’s only in the NDC where everybody thinks that they made ‘the president’. Without them, the president won’t even be alive let alone be president (or so they think). It happened with Mills and now with Mahama. This is all about greed, jealousy and ill-will.
The president has a job to do. He has competent advisors. You want to send the president a message, get it to the advisors. If the president has to take calls from every delusional person who has a complaint – usually their own selfish needs – the president will never work. Talk to his advisors. If there’s no response, try again.
I never heard of this thing when K4 was in power. I am sure there were a lot of unhappy politicians in that govt. as well. But we never heard supposedly respectable people, going out there in public and recklessly complaining because they have not been given a personal audience by the president, and also trying to take credit for the president’s existence.
The president can only appoint so many people to so many positions. If you have been politically involved for 20 plus years, let other people also get the chance. That is how everybody learns. I don’t understand why the same people who were around with Rawlings from how many years ago – most of them appointed when they were in their twenties – still want to occupy these same positions today. They became politicians in their twenties and today they are complaining that other people are too young and inexperienced? Pots calling kettles black?
This is all greed and nothing else.
PLEASE DON’T DESTROY THE ONLY COUNTRY THAT WE HAVE. YOU’VE HAD YOUR TIME. LET THE COUNTRY MOVE ON AND STOP TRYING TO HOLD THE PRESIDENT BACK WITH ALL THIS STUPIDITY.

People like Hanna Bissiw, Okudjeto Ablakwa, and the former Minister who used the Government's money to buy expensive BMW should have been investigated and prosecuted for stealing Government money to enrich themselves. He Mahama must be investigated together with his brother for the Jets he owns. What dicision did the Government arrive after the investigation of a plane loaded with billions of dollars of gold smuggled out of the country and intercepted in Turkey ? Thieves ! Why was Betty Iddrisu left off the hooks of investigation after millions were stolen through judgement debt under her supervision? Why was Amissah rewarded with Vice Presidency even after he unlawfully authorized opening the bank vaults for money to be given to Alfred Agbesi Wayome and co after even after President Mills had ordered against such a move ? THIEVES !! The list goes on and on !
Ghana is bleeding so profusely and shafully, unable to pay workers and contractors because of these unscrupulous officials ? Who fights for Ghana ? Who fights for the ordinary Ghanaian who helplessly suffers the humuliation of poverty and want ? THIEVES and loud-mouthed politicians are dragging the country into collapse. Where is the money for oil ? How do toll boothes account for the money they collect ? Even the Tax Collection Agency is stealing from us while the President sits and watches. The beautiful Road to Peduase Mountains is facing serious Rock-fall threatening passage and lives. The President goes there almost each week, sees the danger but like most of his reactions he does nothing about it until lives are wasted. This Mahama guy is very incompetent and accessory to most of the crimanal acts perpetrated by his cronies in government. Ghana needs clean people to govern not this disappointing bunch who cant even complete simple road constructions that would ordinarily take few weeks to accomplish. The entire country is pulverised with dudt, filth and litter all over. Sanitation is a critical issue while there is a zero chance of survival in the invent of a major outbreak of disease because there is no money reserved for it. Poor Leadership ! All officials whether past or present who took our money must be investigated, prosecuted and jailed publicly. I wish I were the president for only one week ! All you thieves would be jailed - some for life for making Ghanaians suffer that much. THIEVES !!

If so, why, then, is he clearly and obviously distancing himself from the administration? Consider these effusions of his: "they have been in government since last year up to his month, but they are still in first gear ..."!!! Obviously, he's trying to establish a clear-cut distance between "they ... in government" and himself (Bagbin)!
Second, as though the dissociation between "they ... in government" and himself (Bagbin) is not enough, he goes a disturbing step further by seeking to establish not only another dissociation but also a disaffection between the ruling Mahama-led NDC govt and the NDC party. See this: "this is not the government of NDC; this is a government of John Mahama’s family and friends….we have to tell him for him to be able to change and put the people who brought the manifesto into place and fought for him to be president to be put in charge of the governance of this country to make sure that we implement what we promised the people"!!!
When one adds all these utterances of disaffection by Bagbin, a member of the ruling govt and a leading member of the party, to others like Tony Aidoo's recent outbursts complaining of being marginalised in the govt, one is prompted to ask, what's going on in the Mahama presidency? Are things falling apart?
