I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

today our country has the notorious reputation of being one of the most corrupt in the world thanks to pepeni and his band of thieves . we told everyone we knew he had no plan or program to develop the nation except pillage the little monies left and yet today the claim that they could not perform because of a petition . look at their ministers who anything more than 3 pages is a challenge to read talk less of projects whose summaries alone can be over 5000 pages , they are so lazy and selfish that nothing good can come from them . their chief ideologist of evil avenoor was killed and i had planned to go to his grave and urinate and relieve myself on him once every month but he cremated himself i guess i will do so instead on rawlings grave soon. workers are on strike because they know this azaa govt has no clue and in this day and age considering the wealth of the nation no one should work for less than 1000 cedis or 500$ but if free education was such a challenge how can they ever fathom such a reality . they are hopeless so we are preparing for our revolution and telling all righteous to sharpen their knives and bury their guns to wait for for the clarion call. they think they have fooled the Akans especially the fantis , a third of their votes came from the fantis but there is not a single substantiate minister who is a true fanti . they wage war against us Akans but when we come our and call foul they say we are liars . we are ready now so let them bring it on . long live the republic of Akan

Listening to the Finance Minister last night, on a replay of Tarzan's take, I got the sense that a lot of reforms are going on and those reforms are making people utterly uncomfortable and unable to steal and loot. At the same time, the relaxing of access to information by hungry journalist who want to make a name has also made us to hear about perceived corrupt acts that are going on. At the back of this, the Presidency has taken an interest and is giving the right directives for things to be done. All of these does not show weakness, it shows boldness and tack. A leader they say MUST survive pressure. This is the time for the President to show his mettle. Quietly deal with those and forge ahead.

The real problem facing us the youth of Ghana isn't about corruption, it is about jobs for us to make a living. It is about creating a platform for us to engage and contribute meaningfully to nation building. It is for the old folks like the Bagbins and the Jerry Rawlings to take a back stage and allow us the space to exploit our potentials. The very old could serve as guides, but they should give us space and allow things to roll. The best they can do is reduce the heat on the President and give him the space to perform. Nothing more than that ok

In the advance nations or economies, the private sector is the engine that drives the economy. Unlike in Ghana, people expect the government to create jobs which is not happening.

That said, the Finance Minister is not making any sense. Look, who forced NDC to implement the SSSS? NPP came out with that policy and NDC, upon assuming office, had every right to reject it if they studied the pro and cons about it. They implement it just to score cheap political point and they are paying heavily for that. The idea NPP had about that policy is foreign to NDC and that is why they should have contacted NPP for more explanation. Where is NDC's commonsense here? The Finance Minister went on further saying that the petitioning of the election was another factor. Nonsense. During the proceedings, did NDC stop collecting revenue or did the government stop working so, who is this man fooling? While the court case was ongoing, they we deep in paying dubious cash to ghost companies which is having a huge toll on the economy. NDC is a disaster.

Nana is thorn in the flesh of some Ghanaians and they will do whatever they can to plaster his face with mud and I won't be surprise if you are one of them.

So, the question is why aren't these children under the care of their parents? Not all men/women can be that responsible and take care of children but they can produce them isn't it?

The same goes to Mahama. He is a human who can be chosen as leader but can he perform as a leader? No and that is what we are seeing.

Sadly, the man adored by many missed the precious opportunity to demonstrate his practical commitment to such lofty ideals he constantly hums. For nearly twenty years,the admonishiment from the former President to Ghanaians " ... to endorse leadership which supports socio-economic development that benefits everybody and not just a few." failed to become a reality! I wonder how he expects President Mahama's administration which does not have the liberty of authoritarian tendencies of his AFRC/PNDC/NDC era to work to benefit all.

For twenty years the nation witnessed a smaller percentage of the populace hugely benefiting! If not, that length of time must be enough to have moved the nation forward!

I'm passionately proud of someone or a statement who dishes out to others a sterling dose of leadership that left an indelible mark of excellence in their own time. I wonder if the former President is among them.

Well, you lose nothing if you take the wise counsel from past leaders who failed their people in their own time.

May President Mahama pass the test; toughest so far in the political history of the nation. Wish him very well!

This is the question baffling all ghanaians when it comes to Waterviel and woyome, Gyeed, Drill ship, Isofotone, among other corrupt crimes against the good people of ghana. As a president, what do you think if you prosecute these cases or collect all these monies? you will save yourself for 2016 campaigns and you might get the needed money for your development and take out a lot of culprits from the public office for smooth transition to good governance. think about it, good governance and development can be seen and witnessed if you prosecute these cases or collect all these loots. You cannot survive the Mills syndrome of "pat my back and I also pat your back" . Ghana has moved past that and the earlier you act the better for you and the easier it get.

I totally agree with Prez Rawlings, but blame him partially for not completely dismantling corruption during his time when he had all the tools to destroy this engine of corruption from reviving. Ghanaians need to be educated ...

I totally agree with Prez Rawlings, but blame him partially for not completely dismantling corruption during his time when he had all the tools to destroy this engine of corruption from reviving. Ghanaians need to be educated, incentivized, and mobilized in this war on corruption to be able to eradicate this canker. There must be partnership with the people to propagate against the evils of this social behavior and to bring awareness to the benefits of integrity, ethics, and accountability. Also, Ghanaian electorates should be prepared in choosing visionaries, innovative and objective leadership that can turn this tide of anguish, stalemate and partisan blunders drowning our society and economic well-being. We must act as Ghanaians first before we can think about our self-interest, so that we can be each others' keeper. There's a new sheriff coming to town. All must be on their guard.
