  The court case was broadcasted for everyone to watch and to think that those supreme court justices will come out with the verdict they gave, was a source of headache for many discerning Ghanians and scholars We lost every moral fiber on the topic of integrity and to see the Chief justice trumpeting the need for justice is rather short of terse of her leadership. Why Ghana is sinking is as result of this supreme court verdict. Investors are running away because they believe justice will not be served them if they invest in the country and something goes wrong and they take their case to the courts, they are will not receive the the justice they need. Ghana lost an opportunity to demonstrate its credentials of strong, vibrant democratic and legalistic economy where the rule of law works. The clock of Ghana is being set back many hours and it take a lot of years for it to be repaired

  If one goes to court with a case, one must be able to prove that case beyond reasonable doubt in order to win. What we all saw at the SC was short of that. Nothing was proven, no evidence was produced that upheld the petitioner's allegations and not a single witness was called by the petitioners to testify in support of a single allegation.
  
  In which country can such a frivolous case be won?
  
  Majority of the people who sent the allegation to the SC were in government when former President Kuffuor legitimized corruption as a practice in existence since the days of Adam and Eve. It was during his time that numerous contracts were abrogated and re-awarded to the highest bidder for more kickbacks. He was personally in-charge of collecting those kickbacks at the Castle. How can we expect to stamp out corruption if power is given to these same people by the SC through the back door?
  
  We should know the damage caused by putting a fragile economy like Ghana on hold for 8 good months with a useless SC case will take several years to repair.
