...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.

I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

Was he not seeking personal priveleges. people are wont to ask why Bagbin criticised the late Atta Mills until he was giving a Ministerial position. Is it the same "modus operandum" he is employing against Mahama? Let Bagbin be principled for once, and know that there others who contributed to the victory of NDC BOTH IN 2018 AND 2012, who are not making demands on the govt as the Hon MP is doing.

Instead, they should serve them even better because their masters are dear to them as fellow believers and are devoted to the welfare[a] of their slaves.

The "beef" could also be a rehashing of the bitter rift between Mahama and Bagbin over the XTS Housing which Bagbin played a major role in. Politicians of the same conviction hardly fight publicly. Disagreement between a sitting president and a subordinate is not uncommon in Ghana but the sheer grit exhibited by Bagbin against his boss is unheralded. We all remember what happened to Ackaa of blessed memory at the hands of Rawlings. Heck, this president even had the cohunas to fire Martin Amidu under the guise of insubordination, all for fighting against corruption. So it is not like Mahama cannot crack the whip, he just cannot do it against Bagbin, he dares not! Whatever it is, the parliamentarian has succeeded in making the president his gagging bitch.
