This guy came to the job offering no real vision for the nation, instead he only served up absolute nonsense - Ede be keke - which for some, loosely translates into just existing at the wheels, not knowing which direction to go. To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

Look, John Mahama is not cut for prime time, he does not know how, and all his protestations are excuses to cover incompetence and corruption in high places, of which him and his party are direct beneficiaries. What the fuck is Ede be keke? Nonsense!

What is going on in Ghana today is beyond all belief.

I mean I didnt think much of Mahama before and after he was elected as President anyway but my thinking then was that we will all somehow manage to safely scrape through his tenure as we have done with past Presidents and Heads of State since 1966.

However, the little that I thought of the man apparently gave him too much credit when one considers what is going on in the country today.

To say that Mahama is clueless is a shameful understatement. I fear that the incessant and painful unfolding of despicable instances of mismanagement of the state, free-for-all corruption and wanton lawlessness, are just the tip of the iceberg.

The problem now is not how we can manage to go softly-softly until 2016. The big question is, will Ghana survive until 2016?

Forget about Ghana for a minute, but how can any right-thinking President in any country - appoint a known rapist and a crook who brazenly pocketed govt money meant for journalists, in the office of the President? The OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT!!!??!? How?

Even a common FM Radio station thought it was unsafe and unwise for their reputation to keep such a delinquent person in their studios and so they duly fired him without any fuss. Then in comes the elected President of Ghana who seems to think that of all the 24 million Ghanaians, Stan Dogbe stands out as excellent material to be appointed to the high office of the President of Ghana. It is as if one is dreaming. Is it any wonder therefore that every body has abandoned principles and nationalism in favor of greed and theft?

How could Ghana have sunk so low? Ten twenty, thirty, fifty years ago, it was unimaginable that Ghana can ever descend to reach the level where we are today. Total confusion, lawlessness, total national apathy, breakdown of state institutions and utility facilities, unbridled public disorder and the promotion of crooks into national prominence.

In fact I dont blame all these dubious less than mediocre characters who have been running the country since 1966. I blame the system we have adopted. It a system that promotes and enhances the worse primitive instincts in the human being.

It is because of this that parents like Amedome, Col Feli,the three high court judges and an army officer etc were murdered in cold blood in 1979 and 1981. Now the children of these murdered people who were left fatherless and motherless are witnesses to the massive stealing of state funds by this NDC government and the impunity that goes with it, when state officials speak on it. Now these PNDC/NDC have turned themselves into a ruling class and are only interested in amassing illegally gotten wealth, whiles the masses continue to get poorer.

THAT THE REAL QUESTIONS THAT I RESPECTFULLY RAISED FOR HON.NANA AKUFO ADDO, WHO WAS GHANA FORMER FOREIGN MINISTER NEVER BEING ANSWERED BY HIM AND PEOPLE ARE NOW RESORTING TO DIVERSIONARY TACTICS AND CASTING FRIVOLOUS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST H.E.PRESIDENT MAHAMA RATHER INSTEAD OF INSISTING THAT HON.NANA AKUFO ADDO ANSWERS THE QUESTIONS AS BELOW:
(i) WHETHER OR NOT AMERICA GOVERNMENT GAVE ME $10 MILLION WHEN AMERICA GAVE GHANA A GRANT OF $547 MILLION WHEN HE WAS GHANA FOREIGN MINISTER?
(ii) WHETHER OR NOT AMERICA GOVERNMENT GAVE GHANA $547 MILLION AS GRANT FOR POVERTY REDUCTIONS WHEN HON.NANA AKUFO ADDO WAS GHANA FOREIGN MINISTER?
(iii) IF YES, THEN WHAT DID THEY DO WITH THE SAID MONEY?
(iv) WHETHER OR NOT HON.NANA AKUFO ADDO WHEN HE WAS NPP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR 2008 TRANSFERRED MONEY TO CANADA TO PURCHASE CARS/VEHICLES?
(v) IF YES, TO WHO DID HE OR THEY TRANSFER THE MONEY TO IN CANADA?
(vi) WHERE ARE/WERE THE CARS/VEHICLES?

THAT ANSWERS TO THE ABOVE RELATED QUESTIONS ARE NOT MATTERS OF FANCY BUT VERY SERIOUS AND IT IS MY RESPECTFUL SUBMISSION THAT MPS WHO LOVE GHANA AND ARE IN PARLIAMENT FOR THE GOOD CAUSE/COURSE OF THE PEOPLE TO RISE UP ABOVE PARTISAN DIVIDES AND PERSONAL IDIOSYNCRASIES TO TAKE THE MATTER SERIOUSLY TO GET ANSWERS AND ALSO TO GET TO THE RUDIMENTS OF THE MATTER AND TO STOP CASTING FRIVOLOUS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST H.E.PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA.
IT IS AT THESE RELATED BACKDROPS THAT I AM RESPECTFULLY URGING H.E.PRESIDENT MAHAMA TO INSTITUTE INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE MATTER IF HON.NANA AKUFO ADDO REFUSED TO TALK ON THE MATTER, THERETO.
