The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. The president must re-examine the way he makes appointments. The practice whereby anybody who clamours for appointment is appointed cannot work.
Every party has a manifesto, an ideology and tenets. Only those who seriously understand the party's values and are prepared to work towards them must be appointed to hold positions in government. If a party which claims to be a social democratic party appoints someone who doesn't understand what social democrats stand for, it shows the party is not serious about its claims. Unfortunately, most NDC appointees are like that. When a person believes in a course, even in his/her jokes this belief is reflected because as the good book says, "... the mouth speaks what the heart is full of" -Luke 6:45
Miss Victoria and others like her, should not have been appointed in the first place because of their naivety. It was a clear sign of her immaturity when she went on stage to express anger at what was given her as her speech claiming that it was not the speech she had approved. No serious public officer will wait till he/she goes on stage before realising that the speech given him/her is right or wrong. Preparation of speech is an interactive process at the end of which the public official takes a copy for her/himself.

In my opinion, foreign governments should directly fund projects (like the Dutch are doing) vs funding the government's budget that is obviously chopping large amounts off for themselves and their cronies.

Does her position as deputy minister give her access to state funds. What if she meant she would work all he life as a politician to accumulate the sums questioned. Gordon Brown has not quit politics but he rakes in thousands of pounds from speeches and other commitments that his profile accords him on the world stage.

This is a knee jerk reaction and perhaps the President was looking for an excuse to fire her. Even so he should have followed due process.

We cannot sit down as a people and let the allegations or the exposee Ms. Hammah has made about the underhand dealings before the supreme court verdict go uninvestigated. Some of us think that the judiciary is our last hope to seek justice but Ms. Hammah says that money is all that is required to buy justice in Ghana.

This useless shameless Mahama wants to cover up the leaks made by Ms. Hammah by firing her. God will judges all the judges who sold their conscience and reduced the judiciary to mere rubber stamp.

Ms. Hammah revelation is just the beginning of more revelations. NDC is doomed and the few who are bold enough to confront the issue in NDC are humiliated in public. Can Martin Amidu, Alban Bagbin, and Rawlings all be making mistakes at the same time?

So the question becomes, how much did she make on her quest to amass that humongous amount of elicit cash on the back of the Mahama/Amissah Arthur gov't sponsored policy, Flagstaff house sanctioned, Flagstaff house conniving implicit acts, which was revealed by Hammah, Victoria and has led to her being kicked out. What were her assets prior to entering office and how much are her assets after entering office? Has she been investigated to find out if her assets acquired is commensurate with her full emoluments and it could be supported with documentary proof? If yes, then it is well and good, however, if not, then, the serious crime office needs to get into the matter, investigate her source of wealth if any, and seek to retrieve the loot, whilst looking at some sanctions.

It is quite clear from the tape that the government fully appreciated the invaluable services rendered by Oye Lithur in terms od helping to "procure" a satisfactory outcome to the electoral petition.

No wonder, on the morning of the judgement day but before the judgement, everybody around the president wore white.

Stupid president, stupid NDC ministers and followers. Why has she now been fired? Do you now believe the story? Yesterday when the news about the leaked tape came up, many NDC fools and nincompoops hurled insults at the writer, accusing him of false publicaton, intended to malign Victoria. Hasn't he been exonerated? We're ruining the nation with this sickening mentality, that if one doesn't belong to party A, then he's an enemy. Sometimes I wonder how people are considered for such high ministerial appointments. This woman has misconducted herself on numerous occasions for which there has been media hype to challenge her competence. I can bet there are many of her kind in government positions now, we know them all. Albin Babgin must be smiling. Mahama and his bootlickers almost crucified him for criticizing government's failure to deal with the high level corruption and graft. That doesn't even make Babgin any better person, because he has been part of this 'deadly, poisonous, killer' party since PNDC era. Well, this is just the beginning of Mahama's woes. We pray for more of those to come. Indulging in massive electoral thievery to win the presidency has its own repercussions.

The fact that Ayariga says the president's action is none of our business and does not require a rationale for his actions shows that the information minister has not got a clue about what his job is about. Ghana is not NDC's personal property that Ayariga and Mahama can do what they like.
