I am not a fan of the NPP and for obvious reasons, I am also very skeptical of our women in politics. But having said that, I dare say that Ursula is one of the most astute, brave and mature politicians of our time. I do not think that she herself realizes this great potential and skill but if she did and she used it to full advantage, Ghana can perhaps benefit considerably from her keen sense of appreciation of our national woes.

As for you Simingue and your petty partisan negative attitude of casting of ill-will upon her in future, I can only say S.H.A,M.E - shaaaaaame!

To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

Look, John Mahama is not cut for prime time, he does not know how, and all his protestations are excuses to cover incompetence and corruption in high places, of which him and his party are direct beneficiaries. What the fuck is Ede be keke? Nonsense!

Ministers are peers; they have the same agenda because we keep seeing unrelenting corruption every turn of sunrise. If she is corrupt, she does it with others. Is this difficult to understand?

I don't blame her, I blame the society that breeds the likes of her where impunity makes it easy to steal without getting any scratch on the skin.

Personally, a minister should not be that loose in her mind; that's overbearing, silly on the apex.

Don't you think it is this lack of discipline and loose tongues' that are part of our problems?

Scripture teaches us to "be aware of the loose tongue". Such loose tongues can bring a whole house, business or government down and we have seen it happen time and again.

The fact that you ZoRRo and people like you spend your time in your "private home" criticising and consdemning plus castigating others with impunity does not make it right, nor is it to be encouraged. That attitude is tantamount to coawrdice on your part and for any government appointee or public servant, if they are found out, the right and proper cause of action is to discipline them and in this case, sacking the minister is appropriate.

We cannot run a government or the state in a way in which any fool can open their loud mouth anywhere (including their home) and insult their colleagues and / or seek to bring the government into disrepute and you think it is nothing to write home about!!!

What do you think about her assertion for instance that some ministers may have influneced the judiciary? whether it is simple gossip, a 'show-off' or not, is it appropriate for a government minister to say such things? Clearly you do not understand what the responsibilities of high office mean and do not know about the ministerial code.

Either that or you are blindly supporting Ursula Owusu because she articulates what you as an individual rather want to hear. That is called foolishness and sycophancy and it is shameful that a grown up man like you should be stooping so low.

A VIST TO ALL 275 "ABANDONED" CONSTITUENCIES IN GHANA WILL AMAZE THE VISITOR AS WHY POOR OLD SMALL COUNTRY LIKE GHANA HAS A WHOPPING 275 MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT CALLED "HONOURABLES" MY ARSE!!!

THE SAME PROFLIGACY APPLIES TO GHANA'S USELESS COUNCIL OF STATE AND CHIEFTAINCY, ALL OF WHICH DRAWS EASY MONEY FROM GHANA'S LONG-SUFFERING TAX PAYERS.

Don't confuse your possessions with your position in Christ and your purpose. Don't confuse what you are living on with what you are living for. In the season of loss, you need to clarify your values and really remember what is important — relationships and people. People matter, not things. Don't lose your joy over things that are unimportant.
The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:7, "We brought nothing into the world, so we can take nothing out.” For real security, you have to build your life on something that cannot be taken from you. Can a job be taken from you? Yes. There is no such thing as job security. Can you lose your health? Yes. Can you lose the person you are married to? Yes. Can you lose your youthful beauty? Yes! You must build your life on the one thing that cannot be taken away from you: your relationship with God through his Son, Jesus Christ. Any member of our political leadership, regardless of party, should be investigated and face the consequence if found guilty of an attempt to solicit money or steal from the state. I am sure Ursula would have preferred the Prez to do nothing so she would take the opportunity to accuse him of being weak and condoning inappropriate behavior. There is nothing about gender in this case. Making money is contrary to her assigned duties and responsibilities. She was placed there to render a service to the nation- Ghana, the government, and her party- the NDC. Her instant firing was therefore fully justified.

Naturally this sack is uncalled for simply because in every person's life once a time we use to chart with little bragging and free talking b'cos we believe we are within our own territory, where we talk our minds freely when even sometimes things we say or tend to say may not be all trueful.

This might be the real nature of the contents of the recorded conversation between the minister and her conversation partner in question, which was painfully and wickedly recorded by the family cousin who I think while living in the house of the minister at the same time has an evil intention towards the minister.

Mahama has unknowingly opened a gate of fear into every house/family by the action taken against the lady. If all of us could face or experience this in our own house then where shall we be and feel secured with our ''free talks within our own territory''

It is naturally a sad and worrying situation because the question that may hunt every person commenting on this issue is ''have we not talked freely with people that we trust before, and somtimes say things that we shall surely never say it out side our free zone?'' If so then we need to look at this case of which our frustrated president had over acted on.

Where I found it not appreciative nor glorious that the president fired the minister Hammah is the way and the manner the cousin of the minister recorded her conversation with evil and wicked intention.

In the first place Mahama proved that the NPP frustrating tactics used on him had worked, and also it is clear that Mahama who is presently frustrated supported the evil manner the cousin of the minister acted.

One may see the president funny for not taking swift actions against the alleged corrupted guys suspected to be in the government. One school of thought may say the president might have got enough of the deputy minister hence the quick fire without many possible considerations.

This surely will in the future encourage more people to take similar steps to up set family members with similar wicked tactics. Now we shall fear our family members, a very sad, worrying and frustrating development in our nation today.
