Is the Chief Justice aware that the Supreme Court judges and all other judges have been collecting bribes before passing judgements? Ask Atubuga and co. Mere speeches will not solve any problem but action will. Can the C.J. tell me why simple cases in some courts have continually been adjourned and still pending for ten years? Only a massive revolution can solve Ghana's problems.

Nii, I agree with your premises but not the conclusion. As a lay person (a person without law certificate to practice in Ghana), I can say the prosecutor and the defense are on the opposite sides of the legal arguments.

Nii, I agree with your premises but not the conclusion. As a lay person (a person without law certificate to practice in Ghana), I can say the prosecutor and the defense are on the opposite sides of the legal arguments.

If the persecutor sides is neutral, then what is the essence of arbitration.

Rather, the persecutor has to uphold legal integrity, honesty and TRUTH without resorting to contorting EVIDENCE.

This position is a far cry from being neutral.
I do hope that our CJ was wrongly quoted as asking persecutors to be neutral. IF indeed she said that, then our legal system is in trouble.

Good for saying that but you see charity begins at home, Madam CJ. Your past records including your involvement with the NPP to nullify the 208 election was nothing short of contempt to the Constitution and disregard to the good citizens of Ghana who you are apparently, serving. Now you know we always want people of integrity, responsible and committed people whose words speak good and encourage national mutuality and cordiality instead of selfish and egotistical people to lead our various sectors, establishments, organisations, Parliament, Judiciary, communities, religious groups etc.

The advise is good but what about prosecutors holding innocent persons to ransom because according to our laws criminal cases don't die so when it is found out that facts of the case does not support the case of prosecution or that investigations could not establish good enough evidence against an accused the case will be unduly delayed with adjournment until the case dies a natural death as they put it. The accused has no right to request for a speedy trial because if he does he would be blackmailed and threatened false charges and other forms of intimidation. Prosecutors must be bold to request for the acquittal and discharge of innocent persons rather than unduly delay cases after all is not said that justice delayed is justice denied.
