This guy came to the job offering no real vision for the nation, instead he only served up absolute nonsense - Ede be keke - which for some, loosely translates into just existing at the wheels, not knowing which direction to go. To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

Look, John Mahama is not cut for prime time, he does not know how, and all his protestations are excuses to cover incompetence and corruption in high places, of which him and his party are direct beneficiaries. What the fuck is Ede be keke? Nonsense!

On the other hand, most of us are grateful to who did as it once again lays bare the subjective judgment of a Minister of state whose monumental lack of discipline and Okro mouth lands her in the trouble. A cultivated statesperson should be guided by the principles of the profession, and also by the virtue of the position she holds. A professional person - in fact a lady of her ilk - should be circumspect in her utterances. She should have known better. I have no pity for her, none at all.

Hammah must have been connected to certain people in government and apparently wield more power, or probably throws herself a lot about. Most of us are even suspicious about her denegations she hadn't given herself to men in the party.

She must have stepped on too many toes without realizing it and evidently created more enemies than she would have reckoned.

This recording may be a ethical issue but it must be left with her and her family: We aren't interested in who did or how it came about. The person who did knew it was her habit to gossip about everyone.

This is just a lesson to other officials to be careful not to go out with their drivers if it is not official and no matter what I will not let my driver listen to that kind of discussion between someone and myself, it is unfortunate the idiot recorded his own sister in exchange for visa.

Focus your mind on the Bui dam, and it is Kuffour. Gaze at the discovery of OIL and it is Kuffour. Look at N 1 and Akwapim mountain Highway and it is Kuffour. The building of all three main sports stadia and it is Kuffour. Kuffour is the originator of Free maternal care, the national health insurance scheme (NHIS), school feeding program for students,metro mass transport, free cocoa spraying for farmers, improved workers salary, easy availability of loans for workers and small businesses, restoring and face lifting of government buildings left dilapidated by evil NDC. Notably, the Castle & Peduase Lodge, rebuilt the Flag staff house. Kuffour ensured freedom of speech, brought the national youth employment scheme,raised Ghana from HIPC to lower middle income economy, and many many more. It took him just eight years to do all those. NDC has been on the spot light as a ruling government for a total of about 25 years, there is not even one single developmental project, not even one... come on and how foolish can anyone be to do nothing but insult such a statesman? The issue is how you then fight corruption when it perpetrates right from the very top and no wonder the leadership of the country seems adamant. I have been away from this forum for a while, yes hibernating, but the last time I told Ghanaians to be ready for the worst to come and even worst still to come from our infamous blind leadership.

They believe they are untouchable still, for the same party, the founder captured power with our own guns and he called it a revolution. His predecessors’ resonated similarly with our own money to buy power. They will stop at nothing to maintain power and win again in the next elections whether by hook or by crook. Firstly they paid our cash to win votes, followed by donating mopeds to ground troops, then cars and houses to senior members using the same money (our money). Then Mr. Afari Gyan and finally the 9 supreme judge’s supreme bribery, again with our own money. This is just a tip of the iceberg, wait for the worst still. Now where does the ordinary citizen’s takes their cases? Do you report to the government or the Supreme Court for justice to be done, when they are the injustice departments in truth?

I believe only Nkrumah's record can master that of KU4, in his short period of time. Despite JJ's efforts, he was no match to both Nkrumah and kU4.
Even if Ndc is left to rule for another 25yrs they'll never be able to master the super record of the two great gentlemen. Like Nkrumah we will forever miss KU4 years.Ndc survive through,lying,cheating,tribalism, and that is all.

Kufuor seemed to lack the philosophical base and a solid good moral and ethical stand. Corruption was too open and no systems put in place to curb it despite his vision of zero-tolerance for corruption. That is what left a bad selling for his good programs and when Akufo Addo failed to distinguish himself wiht his onw agenda, he was defeated.

You can therefore imagine that, had Kuffour inherited prosperous econmy, he would have completed all his projects in his first term and initiate more of such.

Concerning corruption, Nkrumah himself was corrupt. How could one man because of his Political ambition to hold power in Africa, without parliament approval gave 10-Million Pound Sterling each to Guinea and Mali to consolidate and nurtured their infant independence from their Colonial Master - the French? Do you know why late Krobo Edusei once said (the distance between him and poverty was too wide to measure)? Nkrumah instructed him to go and deposit some Gold Bars in his wife (Fathia Nkrumah's) account in overseas and Krobo Edusei diverted the deal into his account. Nkrumah was corrupt in a sense that he instituted the policy whereby contractors were to pay 10% of their contract amount to the coffers of the CPP Account and not Government's Account so he could use the money to bury his opponents in election times. Don't just sing praises only to the man Nkrumah, he had his good and bad sides. E&OE.

President Mahama was just trying to give the youth chance to get involved in the running of the country. However, some of them have abused the opportunity. This is natural and it can happen to anyone. There has never been any president in Ghana that never had problems with his appointed ministers. No one is a presidential material.

Why do we have so many LIARS and THIEVES in leadership positions in our dear country? What has embolden people of this caliber to go into politics, and where are all the good people? Decent people are silenced through aggressive attacks, including insults when they dare talk about the various vices in our country. Positions are created for people who contribute NOTHING to the development of our country; yet they are paid huge salaries and enjoy various benefits. WHAT HAS GHANA DONE? Why are THESE BREED OF POLITITIANS doing this to our land. They have managed to divide the people with their various groupings (parties) and are busily destroying the country without fear, because they know they will always have FOOLS to back them. Fellow citizens, you have no idea how it makes me sick to find some of our compatriots justify one wrong with another. (when you where in power you did it so why can't we) Those who say such things in support of BAD POLITICIANS are indeed very pathetic. The resources they mismanage can be used to improve your lives, that is, reduce electricity cost, constantly provide potable drinking water at an affordable rate, provide good roads, beautify our cities, pay reasonable wages, provide good healthcare that is affordable and many more. The Ministers and Deputy Ministers need assistants because they are not competent or are a special breed. We now know why they are in politics to make money. And beauty is a qualification.
