I find this whole business of recording people's private conversations very distasteful and condemnable.

Are we not human beings with right to talk about matters which interest us, whether in private or in public? What is wrong is for people who are privy to our conversations to leak what they hear, at our blind sides.

It's unfortunate that certain parts of VIC'S conversations are creating tension within her own NDC and have given room for the NPP to make political capital of. But, as a politician, doesn't she have the right to discuss political matters and personalities? Who in Ghana does not talk politics?

Let ALL 'big men' in Ghana who take pride in their affluence and employ the poor as drivers, body guards, house-helps etc, take lesson from Vic's experience. They should remember that those 'low class' people are also human beings who equally enjoy new happenings, record them and talk about them when they find appropriate.

Let's leave Vic alone before other 'drivers' begin to play records of their 'big people'.

The NPP and its collaborators are behaving as if the 2012 election was the last election to be held in Ghana and once the NPP is not in power, whoever is there should never be given the peace of mind to govern. Mind you! in life, if you don't want your neighbour to count up to ten, there is no way you can also count up to nine. The NPP and their "nkonkonsa"Statesman can play politics with Victoria Hammah and the leaked tape but that would not reverse their record of winning only two regions out of the ten regions found in Ghana. THIS IS BECAUSE HIS LORDSHIP JUSTICE WILLIAM ATUGUBA CLEARLY STATED IN THE REVIEW APPLICATION THAT "THE BRIEF WAS NOT FRIVOLOUS AND WAS ARGUABLE AND EVEN STRESSED THAT THE FIRS EVER PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION HAPPENED IN GHANA IN 1969 ERA BUT IT WAS ATTORNEY GENERAL WHO WAS SUED BUT NOT THE PRESIDENT.
HE THEREFORE CONCLUDED THAT "THE BRIEF THEREFORE WAS NOT "WISHY-WASHY" BUT ARGUABLE.
HOWEVER, COUNSELS FOR THE RESPONDENTS FAILED TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE AND THAT LORDSHIP JUSTICE ATUGUBA FURTHER STATED THAT "THE BRIEF CLEARLY MADE IT CLEAR THAT EVEN IF THE AMICUS CURIAE BRIEF WAS NOT RESORTED THE COURT ITSELF OUGHT TO HAVE TAKEN THE MATTER "SUO MOTTO".
BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE SUPREME COURT ITSELF NEVER ADDRESSED ITSELF AGAIN TO THE MATTER TO DEAL WITH IT IN ITS FINAL RULINGS.
