we jump the gun straight spoiling markets of others and started distributing free laptops. the laptops are all lying idle with students going into sakawa business. monkey swine

The backward people, always finding means to do corrupting things to their own people and when Sunday comes they will be first in Church. In a country were by stupidity has become the new norm, always coming up with programs that do not benefit the people it was intended to, but themselves. Oh Ghana, are we going or coming?

Setting up computer labs without ICT professionals/trainers!Oh please!Money again wasted!Don't we have people who develop our education curriculum? No wonder we cannot manufacture a common needle-the most simplest tool.

Now if one could keep the lights on in Ghana, all the students would have to do is pay $25 a month for one year and study www.lynda.com . They will then be able to compete with kids in China and India, just to name two countries.
One only needs two things in life to create wealth for ones' family, community, nation and world: 1.)Internet access daily. 2.) Global Networking.
With such, in places like the US, where public libraries have free internet access, the level of poverty should be on the decline greatly. But the masses have their minds still stuck in the Manufacturing Age not the Informational Age!
What about Africa? If Ghana could keep the lights on, I could teach local Ghanaians how to use online, home-based centered, US companies that operate globally and payout in checks. No need for VISA or MASTERCARD or PAYPAL to participate!

Please note the difference in a WiFi-centered computer and one that is supports 3G and 4G data plans.
Even the Nexus 7 Tablet is not costly.

Ghanaian journalists are less than quarter-literates otherwise how can they explain "The rlg laptops intended for schools are installed with ubuntu windows".
Ubuntu is one of the several derivates of graphical interface for Unix-based systems while Windows is the alternative Operating System from Microsoft. So it is totally wrong to talk of Ubuntu Windows.
It is either Ubuntu (Fedora, RedHat, etc) or Windows and NEVER both.

“Akonfem socialism is this new brand of socialism where government officials engage in “chopping” the meat to the bone. Rather than focusing on serving the people, our Akonfem socialists focus on coming up with schemes to steal money from the people.
“…This is why we have the creation of schemes such as GYEEDA, SADA, SUBAH, WAYOME, WATERVILLE, ISOTOFON, AAL, where the state has been defrauded of billions of Ghana cedis which could otherwise have been used for productive development expenditure. This is only what we know about. This is not what Ghanaians expect from the party of “Probity and Accountability,”
