Good leaders act; they do not wait to react to situations. Ghanaians will have difficulty electing another President from the geo-political north which the President and myself come from for more than thirty years after he has left office should this President fail to fight corruption, abuse of office and impunity in obedience to our ancestors and God during his tenure of office. Then one must ask: even if his first year presented difficulties, how much more time with regard to experience does Mahama need?! Mahama was a Minister of Communication in NDC1. Then he became VP in the Mills administration for 8 bloody years, during which he was practically running the show - STX, Brazilian Embraer Jets and hangar etc, etc. With all this experience in goverment at the very top, how can Mahama cite "difficulties"? Difficulties when your brother purchased a Lear Jet without a problem whatsoever? Difficulties when Woyome had no problem getting almost $50 million, then GYEEDA, SUBAH...What the hell is he talking about?

We have to conclude he is talking about all the corruption that's been exposed in his face and nothing more. Or perhaps it was the murder of Mills he is having sleepless nights about!

• Not long after these tours he went on Regional/District Tours for his Elections campaign, where he distributed cars, outboard motors and motor bikes to Chiefs and people
• I witnessed one of such such trips, where he went to Ajumako, Asikuma, Mankesim, before he came to Elmina, then Komenda, Duakor and stopped at London Bridge in Cape Coast around 11.30 pm, where the waiting crowd were given Yomi (a plastic container of gari, sugar and powdered milk)
• He has toured so many markets in Accra, and returned to console them when Fire burnt down their Stalls and blamed saboteurs.
• He has attended most of the country's Festivals and Durbars - Afahye, Bakatue, Aboakyer, Homowo, Kundum, where he made promises such as completing Kotokuraba market.
• Mahama then took to his Mosque and Church tours, where he made Speeches about nothing.

• He has also gone to inspect so many Projects making promises to complete them but never does.
• President Mahama has gone to United Nations twice - but no invite to White house but CNN.
• He was in France, UK, Indonesia, Japan, Turkey, Brussels, China etc.
• He has been to South Africa more than three times; Nigeria three times, Ivory Coast, Mali, Togo, Benin, Burkina Fasso...
• He was in Black Star camp, joined keep fit clubs, meeting people...meeting more people local and overseas...

• AND HOW DOES HE DO HIS WORK: Like having meetings with his Economic Advisors and Think Tanks, Ministers and Secretaries of State, Cabinet meetings, Legislature, Judiciary, Police and Armed Forces Bosses, Diplomats and SOLVING REAL PROBLEMS?
• And such trips cost a lot with a huge following as we saw in London, where a whole First Class Hotel was hired for his follow backs...

Oil had then been discovered by your immediate predecessor (J A Kuffour) and production was at its initial stage. Gold price was booming and revenue rose astronomically and yet government borrowing within the first 3 years was more than Kuffour's 8 years in office. However, the quantum of revenue generated was stolen by members of your government.

Against these backdrop, you have no excuse to under perform, if you are worth your salt.
You have absolutely failed as a leader; just resign now to save the little dignity you are left with.

He was probably not yet born or was a baby to appreciate what the Osagyefo suffered not just in his first year, but throughout his presidency, despite the overwheliming popular support he enjoyed. It is worth noting that Nkrumah's detractors continuously questioned his legitimacy.

I agree the 'cloud' surrounding his legitimate election victory was deeply unsettling and allowed unscrupulous elements to take advantage and seek to destabilise his government. However having come through it all, he should say less and do more to prove that it was all worth it and that he deserves to be considered both by his party and the electorate to remain in the post.

Should we 'pity' him for his woes which in my view were grossly unfair and unjust? The simple answer is a big NO!!! He should have known what he was getting himself into when he put himself forward to lead the country. Remember, "uneasy lies the head that wears the crown". This is not just a Shakespearan saying but very true even today. Mr President, if in doubt just speak to other leaders, not least Barack Obama, you may just pick up one or two things to 'strengthen you' to get on with the job.

Why did President Mahama's lawyers, Lithur, Brew & co all over in Bank of Ghana, Ministry of Finance, Attorney General's office, Solicitor General office covering Mahama's family tracks. What about SADA, GEEYDA, GRA, Waterville, ISOFOTON and all places covering for him, the President, who is purported to be clean yet MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT ever elected into office by Ghanaians who did not care to read and to know more about those they elect as President.

I cannot believe that you rightly campaigned to be elected as President of the country and rightly so you won. Do you really think becoming a President is to just sit in your office and be briefed every day? Sure, we are aware of the fires by those unscrupulous people. But your simple assertion and comparison is very poor judgement. Let me put it blank to you that your are really naked indeed as precisely put by Hon Bagbin.

Mr President, how can you compared been put into prison and bombed by the opposition during the country's independence struggles with just fires being set to properties just to create chaos to unsettle few locals? It is a fact you studied communication but this is causing hindrance to yourself.

I writing because I feel very nauseating of you telling Ghanaians of your troubles in your first year? If then, the 64 million question is, what were you doing for 4 years as the Vice-President of the country. Just entering into dubious contracts in Brazil and other places? What about your family bankrupting Merchant Bank?
Why is your own brother not paying back the 51 Million Cedis he borrowed from the Merchant Bank? Why has your lawyers' chambers allover the place and in positions to cover your family tracks in Bank of Ghana, Attorney General's office, Ministry of Finance, Transport Ministry and other places.

Perhaps, Mr President what you should have said is rather the 'Most Corrupt President' to assume office in Ghana since the country's independence.

I might add that Dr Jerry Rawlings was right after all in his outbursts to call President Mills attention to those people surrounding him when he was alive. Unfortunately, for Dr Rawlings he also made mistakes through the avaricious nature of the wife. Otherwise, he would have being a saint.

The only people whoever ruled Ghana and never thought of themselves were the blessed Dr Nkrumah, Dr Ako-Adjei and his few brothers from Ako-Adjei House at La. Why am I saying this, some people may ask. The clear answer is simply, these people never had any personal landed property.

So Mr President, better listen Messrs Martin Amidu, Abban Badgin and few others from the North as you giving you sound advise.
