Open your eyes wide and read carefully. Like the magician in front of a dumb audience, this akonfem government is pulling the same trick again. It is saying that appointees will take a 10% pay cut. Let's assume that they will all VOLUNTARITY hand over 10% of their fat pay cheques. That still leaves a whopping 90% of fat. To put it in graphic terms, a 10% reduction in Vicky Hammah's arse still leaves a lot of arse. And now, here is the slight of hand: these rascals are going to increase their perks by 10%, perks whose value is always bigger than the size of the basic salary anyway. Imagine an appointee whose basic monthly salary is 9,000 cedis but whose monthly perks translate into raw cash as 20,000 cedis. In total, this appointee is earning 29,000 cedis a month. Take away 900 cedis as the voluntary 10% cut and add 2,000 as the commensurate 10 percentage points increase in perks. The new total is now, 8,100(reduced basic pay) + 22,000(increased value of perks) = 30,100 cedis. Now calculate the percentage change from 29,000 to 30,100. This is the moronmics being practised by this akonfem government

We blame government for many issues, I agree, but toothless opposition who is 'rhetorical' for not identifying the essential concerns on issues of Ghana and challenge them appropriately must be accused for leeway the government has had to be incompetent. I think both the NDC government and the opposition NPP are alike incompetent to lead Ghana any further, so who next?
