This is the incompetency of this administation they implement without proper planning and considerations then try to pull back when things start crumbling. The people are being taxed like crazy, businesses are suffering and yet they claim appointees are sacrificing. How do their salaries compare to the real worker bees in the ministries? What a country!

This is the most corrupt institutionalized rip off of the taxpayer yet, by this thieving NDC gov't. You jack up your salaries, back date it from 2009, clear the treasury, set up "a special fund", in which you all contribute, invest the funds, reinvest and use it for "special projects", not backed by law or by the constitution or backed by a legislative instrument by going through parliament. Who manages the "special fund". Is it not a election campaign fund that has effectively been created, since the masses are up in arms against the plain and blatant looting of the state purse? This "special fund" for "special projects" needs to be looked into by parliament, requires the attention of think tanks, policy organizations, the media, to ensure that, the looting frenzy which is now being channeled via all sorts of convoluted means akin to money laundering is curtailed with alacrity.

Well not for me because that amount will be recouped about 100 times more from somewhere at the expense of the state so nobody should buy such a political stunt.
I or we expect anybody working and doing it right should be paid accordingly and for that matter,this so-called 10% cut is politically motivated and must be treated with all scepticism.
What i/Ghanaians expect from our politicians,is honesty and stop to channelling the state's funds abroad buying properties for their girl friends and others al over the globe.
Perhaps i should remind members of the current government that their party NDC was born out of the most brutal regimes of AFRC/PNDC which ceased power,murdered and confiscated people's money and properties only to do worse.
Your pretences know no bounds so stop deceiving and fooling us.
What needs doing is improvement in all sectors of our nation like infrastructure,health services,education,agriculture,manufacturing,living standard of the the populace etc,etc and not this dust throwing in the eyes of most Ghanaians who are ignorant.

Ghana needs no more than 12 cabinet ministers and 20 deputies with no regional ministers. The surest way to find money for Ghana's development is to reduce the waste and eliminate corruption. That alone will make at least $1 billion available to the country each and every year.
