Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months was the best decision I ever made for my two children who were born in 1998 and 2000. Best gift I ever gave to my children and myself. Kiddos were healthy, skin looked great, no ear infections, no allergies, no ER visits etc. Was also very beneficial for me because pregnancy fat came off easier and was also natural birth control. (though you may still want some extra protection:):)

Of course my child bearing years was the peak of the exclusive breastfeeding campaign. Sorry to hear that the movement has lost momentum.

Ladies, it is not the most convenient thing for working mothers but where there is a will there's definitely a way. There are some modern and fancy breast pumps that help you pump easily and conveniently (even at work!) making it easy to store in the refrigerator and freezer! Dad and other helpers can easily 'breastfeed' baby even when mommy is at work.

With a little planning and smarts you can give your child your own natural breast milk for the first important months of their life.

If you are in decision valley about exclusive breastfeeding I say GO FOR IT!
You will never regret.

Me again. If 6 months sounds like a pain, can you go for a shorter time? Even a 3 or 4 month run will be plenty good for baby.

It's a scietific fact that cow milk doesn't allow the baby's brain to grow normally as fast as the body.
We call them lactogen baby.

Medicinal Benefits of the Tiger Nuts

1. It prevent constipation.

2. It has necessary essential minerals; calcium, magnesium and iron necessary for bones, tissues repairs, muscles and the blood stream.

3. It contains enough protein and carbohydrates

4. Chufa contains a good quantity of vitamin B1 which assists in balancing the central nervous system and helps to encourage the body to adapt to stress.

5. It supplies the body with enough quantity of Vitamin E, very essential for fertility in both men and women.

How to make Tiger-Nut Juice

Procedure

Fetch 180g of dried tiger nut, 1 liter of water and one lemon rind; sort out all rotten nuts and other unwanted objects.
Wash chufa and soak for 24 hours, change the water 2-3 times to avoid smelling, drain well and blend in your blender.

Blend it with a rind of lemon, add half of the water and allow to stand for 20 minutes - sieve with a neat cloth twice, bottle and serve cold you can add molasses and a cinnamon stick.

Chufa is cholesterol free but contains 2.9 grams of sodium, so, it should be eaten in moderation by the blood group ‘O’s. nursing mothers should eat a lot of tiger nuts for enough production of their bosom milk to satisfy their babies.

Some ladies "preserve" their breasts for their men. Instead of allowing the kids to suck, these ladies will rather keep the breasts for the men to suck.
