He is causing all this hardship in the country. Why should the WB and IMF tell you to allow a free fall of the Cedis and you follow suit. Why are they saying you should not allow money in whilst the multi nationals are transferring 100s of millions of dollars out of the country by illegal means yet they in Europe and Britain allow those money in. He should be talking to the Governor of banks in ASIA he would learn a lot he is crippling our economy he must be sacked.

Merchant Bank was sold to Fortiz for GHC90 million but not $90 million. First Rand Bank, a well eStablished and a first class bank offer of $90 for 75% share was rejected in favour of Fortiz nobody has ever heard of. Nobody knows who owns Fortiz. What is their financial base and, what they can do financially to sustain Merchant Bank? Has this got to with the debt of Mahamahs? Merchant Bank is been given it away to a group associated with the Mahamahs so they can kick back some of the wind fall from the deal to pay the Mahamahs debt of GHC175,000,000.00(GHC58 MILLION + INTEREST)owned to Merchant Bank on paper? This deal is fishy and shrouded in secrecy. The government is not telling us who owns Fortiz which was just incorporated in a rush in July 2013. Why is the government interested in selling 90% to this obscured company which has no track record whatsoever for GHC90 million as against First Rand Bank offer of $90 for 75% share? Why did the many board members resigned in protest? Is it because Fortiz is a Ghanaian owned that is the reason for this sweet heart deal?

To say Fortiz Group is a Ghanaian owned and therefore, we have to favour them at a lower sales price as against a South Africa Bank will not wash because UT Bank, a Ghanaian Bank with history and a solid foundation outbid Fortiz by miles but it's offer was overlooked and rejected. It's not about who can manage and sustain Merchant Bank the most but it's all about corruption, kickbacks, "quid pro quo deal" and, create, loot and share period. This deal stinks period.

BoG gave an approval for Merchant Bank to be sold and, BoG will carry out due diligence on the Fortiz Private Equity Fund Limited and also ascertain the appropriateness of Fortiz’s role in the sale after Merchant Bank is handed to Fortiz on a silver platter. I'm very sad as a Ghanaian. Do these criminal corrupt idiots we've given our mandates to rule Ghana cares about Ghana at all? Are they loyal and committed to Ghana at all? Do they care if Ghana colapses or not?

I'm 100% convinced Mahamah, BoG, SSNIT, Fortiz, SIC and few criminal minded Ghanaians are out there to CREATE, LOOT and SHARE our resources with impunity period.

By that statement, if we push BoG for information about Fortiz now there would be non. Why would BoG want to do that? What was the rush? This is criminal and shouldn't be allowed to stand period. I 'm glad Mr. Andrew Awuni is in court to defend Ghana Ghana a role we've invested in the hands of Mahamah and his boys. I'm hoping Mr Martin Amidu would join him soon.

If the bank is sold cheap, Ghana's Pension contributors end up losing but we should also be sure if the fundamentals and all underlying variables warrant the bank to be sold at a higher price.

Both Ghanaian workers and pensioneers future are in total jeopardy if they fail to act on their toil with their blood and sweet and their saving for future is in someone hands.President Mahama selling the bank is crime against both pensioneers and workers for them to slave to work of somebody and in time for their needs they have to be begging for them to get whatever is due to them.The only advice to workers and pensioneers in to go and demonstrate to put pressure on workers and pensions enemy president to stop the sales unless they workers and pensioneers do not care of their lifelihood.President Mahama is enemy to all workers and he deserve not to be their president.
