This guy came to the job offering no real vision for the nation, instead he only served up absolute nonsense - Ede be keke - which for some, loosely translates into just existing at the wheels, not knowing which direction to go. To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

Rawlings would approve the use of the Oil Ship as a guarantee for the LOAN ultimately given to Tsatsu tsikata, the closest confidant of Jeremiah John Rawlings. The President at the time the said loan was given to Tsatsu Tsikata was Chairman Jeremiah John Rawlings, the defacto ruler of Ghana from 1981...

The problem Ghanaians have is the balance of $3.5 million left after payment of the judgement debt owed SG. We want to know where the money is or what happened to it.

By asking Dr. Rawlings to appear is stupid and unnecessary because the ship was sold by President Kuffuor and he is the one who can tell us what happened to the balance of the proceeds.

We also want to know what happened to the proceeds from our Ambassador's residence sold in Washington, DC by President Kuffour.

Following the revelation (by the Crusading Guide), as appeared on Peace FM online over the weekend, that he Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata - as CEO - did personally write to the GNPC board in 1998, acknowledging the fact that OUR (Ghana's) Company, GNPC, which he was running on our behalf at the time, did actually owe Societe Generale (SG) a whooping US$40m, which had attracted an additional US$7m in interests - and his flat denial at the Sole Commissioner's last week - that at the time he was leaving GNPC in December 2000, the Company DID NOT owe (SG) - Then on what basis could he call Former President Kufour a Debt Collector for and on behalf of SG? What Debts was he (Prez Kufour) collecting for SG, if we did not owe them anything resulting from his misapplication of OUR funds?

If he Tsikata has grudges against President Kufour and his administration, resulting from his trial by a court of competent jurisdiction - followed by the numerous appeals even up to the Supreme Court and beyond - all of which confirmed the original judgement - which we all as humans expect he would, He should NOT hide behind other untenable excuses and insinuations to try to explain himself away.. It will not fly with some of us. Am sorry. Those he will be able to convince with the flimsy excuses and explanations - HE KNOWS THEM.

What crimes had the Kufour administration committed by negotiation the GNPC debt of US$40m+ down to US$19.5m. Is he trying to say that the US$19.5m was not in respect of any debt but a kind of maybe a 'donation' ? What hypocrisy ? Has he ever thought about why we paid US$19.5 and not US$18.0 or US$20.5? And after that thinking, did he get any answers for himself ?

He (Tsatsu) should NOT try to hide behind legalities of whether or not there had been court rulings to confirm or precipitate the fact that GNPC which he was running did owe SG a minimum of US$40m as at the time he was leaving Office. He knows they did. And he should not LIE about that.

Further, he - Tsatsu, should NOTE that there is a call on him from another caring and worried Ghanaian - Mr. Alex Asabre - to come clear on the handling and circumstances surrounding the Purchase of the vessel in the first place.

He should give us a BREAK !!

The funny thing is that the NDC cannot see their way clear as the months tick by towards 2016. It's a long way though, but they've started finding ways to destroy Nana Akufo-Addo's soaring image, esp. after he'd exposed EC and NDC joint criminal efforts in Ghana's elections.

They doing all they can to link Nana Akufo-Addo and ex-Prez. Kuffour to the sale of the Drill Ship, citing mis-appropriation of state funds by the tow gentlemen. I wonder how Nana Akufo-Addo esp. could pocket monies accrued from the sale of the Ship when he was the AG. His duty was to give power of attorney to those in charge of the sale.

So does the NDC want to tell everyone in Ghanaian that the AG did the sale by himself and pocketed the money or probably shared the proceeds with Kuffour & Co; isn't it? Lies upon lies! The news we're hearing raises lots of questions beyond just the sale of the ship. But the NDC still hang on their desire to deceive Ghanaians and as well divert attention on matters that bother Ghanaians most---the horrible economic situation and its resultant hardship on Ghanaians among others.

Mahama should just get down from the throne since he cannot do anything good for the nation and her suffering masses. No wonder he's fooling people by looking moderate with his 10% pay-cut gimmick. NDC should give Ghanaians a break!

It is senseless for the NDC to call President Kuffuor to account and leave out Rawlings during whose regime the ship was acquired and subsequent amassing of such huge debt. Rawlings and Tsikata must surely account.
