Since when did the prevention of fake drugs from entering the health care system become a bad thing? Or is it because it is the NDC which is in power that is why enforcing the law has become a crime?

Crooks and fraudsters present themselves as genuine businessmen and amass wealth by putting innocent peoples life at risk and when state institutions take action, brainless guys like you think they are being victimized! What else did you want the authorities to do? Fold their arms and look on unconcerned or clap for Tobinco for importing fake and unregistered drugs?

Instead of learning to understand the way governance works and appreciating the sacrifices state institutions have to make to protect us, you guys are only interested in making uninformed comments on every small issue, just for the sake of politics.

One of these days when you are gasping for breath on your death-bed after having taken some fake drug, I hope to be around to see whether you will blame the Food and Drugs Authority or the heartless brigands who imported the fake drug. Why can't we just allow state institutions to do their work?

You don't want to rely on results from the FDA but from who? If so, why don't you suggest that the person or organization be entrusted the work of the FDA rather?

You see the leaky brains that some of you Ghanaians have? You are accusing others of hating "successful" people in society. In the first place what is your definition of being "successful"? For guys like you, once people hav money to throw around, whether they deal in cocaine or money laundering or ritual murder, such people must be worshiped simply because they have money! People like you have only one drive in life - money! Money is everything!

Your mind has been numbed by the fact that Tobinco has been around for a long time (13 years) and the CEO has money. Because of that you can't think of how a company (with CEO) like that could engage in fraud. Let me tell you one secret about criminals: They often use their clout to outwit society because they know there are people like you out there who would never suspect them of any wrongdoing because their money is enough to gain your respect.

There are cocaine barons around who have built schools and hospitals and made huge donations to churches in their communities. Are you saying because of that the law must let them walk free if they are caught? You probably don't know what hard and fake drugs do to society, as compared to the so-called "kind gestures" that the dealers show towards the people to cover up their evil deeds!

And who told you that 13 years of operation is the enough for trusting that someone would not engage in crime? This is naivety of the highest order on your part! Be told, brother, the FDA has nothing against Tobinco or any other company for as long as they do the right thing. If they don't, they will be brought to book because the FDA and EOCO are mandated to protect the public interest. And they would never shirk that responsibility because of the unfounded suspicions of partisan politically-minded people like you. Plain and simple!

If Tobinco had nothing to hide, why wouldn't the company just sue the FDA and EOCO instead of running to media houses to make their case? The CEO thinks by engaging the media to make noise about its case, the FDA would be cowed into submission so that the company can go about its nefarious activities without hindrance. Let me tell you, my brother, gone are those days when people run roughshod over the state because of their money. Those days are over!

And what became of the so-called intercession prayers involving the company staff which we last watched on TV? As a friend of mine would say that was "concert"! I know there are some innocent staff members who believe that their company - and for that matter their livelihood - are being targeted for no reason. But I suspect there are others in the company who have knowledge of underhand dealings that the company is involved in. As I have already said, make no mistake, those guys at the FDA and EOCO know what they are doing!

You make me sad, citizen! At this stage of nation-building you are still talking about "brothers and parents". If you care to know, I don't give a damn if my dad or cousin is busted for engaging in crime. This is the stupid mentality that has brought this nation to its knees - "my brother" or "my parents"? Nonsense! Crime is crime. Crime does not cease to become crime even if MY MOTHER committed it. Get that straight into your thick skull, if you truly want this country to progress!

If you accept we have to "wait for the outcome of courts proceedings", what then is your beef?. People have to be charged first before a court can decide whether they are guilty or not, so are you saying Tobinco must be sent to court without being charged? The first step for a suspected criminal case like this is for those in charge of Tobinco to be arrested. There is absolutely no malice to it, except for people like you who see conspiracy in every government move because you don't support the NDC government.

When will we learn to eschew this political buffoonery that because I don't support a particular government, then EVERYTHING it does is wrong or ill-intentioned? Does this mentality help nations to develop?

And, finally, between be and you, who is an "educated illiterate"? You even have the effrontery to insult other people because they have a different opinion? You are such a miserable dunce!
