...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.

I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

Respect the Engineers and Doctors instead. At least they give tangible value for occupying space. I think Ghanaians will respect them more if they did a credible job of getting at the truth and allowing individuals to live life instead of countenancing unnecessarily long trials. A typical 5 year case in a Ghanaian court would take 40 minutes or less in a typical western courtroom. People are busy and have no time for gimmicks and tricks. They want to get to the truth and move on with life.

Most Ghanaians given the choice to seek redress at the local chief's palace or the court will choose the chief's palace.

The certified truth is that lawyers love to arrest their patients with force and alacrity, and keep them as permanent clients whose main purpose is to hemorrhage money while the judges referee aloofly as innocent bystanders.

My question is,why is the Elementary School Teacher whom performs the difficult part of a Child education(hammered the 1,2,3,and a,b,c d, into the heads for these folks) not entitled to anything ?.
When they got the Chance to rewrite the Constitution,the educated write it in a way to their benefit,and to indemnify their Colleagues and others.
That's one reason why in my opinion, I think Corruption in the Country would never be minimized.Because the people are aware that the educated and powerful,take advantage of their ignorance to Cheat them here and there,so the people also find a way to live.

The Judiciary arm of the government is worthless. Government officials have been enriching themselves for years while the judiciary keeps its head in the sand choosing to see no evil, hear no evil, and do no evil. It is the job of the judiciary to keep our corrupt politicians scared enough about losing their ill-gotten gains, and their personal freedom but instead it has failed us.
It has failed miserably in assisting in the development of our country in this direction, and failed ordinary Ghanaians who seek justice through the courts. I have a close friend here in Amsterdam who has been going to court for 5 years over a land dispute. His house is built but cannot live in it because some clown decided the land is his. How has the court helped him? Nilch, nada. The house is vacant and uninhabited, and has become a den for sparrows and lizards. What happens if the house gets vandalized? The Lords of the courts, these so-called learned people who do not create anything for human consumption will offer nothing short of apologies at best. There is no real protection under Ghanaian law. We are in the jungle baby!!!! No wonder people go to juju and the like - what ever happened to getting to the truth as in western law. Not in Ghana - In Ghana it is who it is that can speak the most legal jargon and pull the wool over the other's eyes. Forget about the truth. Lawyers want to keep unwitting clients as family member-clients for life.

I think the time has come to scrap the whole system and get back to the day when the local chief was the supremo judge - Don't think they can do any worse than what these so-called pompous learned people are delivering - Even Engineers, Doctors, Nurses, and men and women of science do not call themselves learned and yet these rascals parade around town with their out-of-date costumes trying to convince the rest of us that they reason at a higher level than the rest of.

What is the meaning of 30 to 40 gallons of fuel, all this mismanagement is the result of where the country is heading towards.Every worker is taking 30 to 40 gallons of fuel, just imagine what will happen.Then if this is the case what they use their salaries for. A teacher is taking Gh600-700 take home pay, out of this he or she pay everything. what do you say about that. Mr. President do what is right.

I don't think there is anything wrong with pay cut, but if the judges are not willing to do that they should speak up and stop whinning.

The gov`t errorneously and foolishly increased salary levels of some workers and I beleive they were very happy. Now if the same gov`t has realised its terrible mistakes and foolish misteps, why can`t the gov`t correct them?

It was an attempt by the government to let sleeping dogs lay during the time of the petition.Its very stupid on the part of all those workers of the government who did not see this coming especially the court because in every government, salary increase has to be tided with revenue increase and some form of surplus in some sectors. If those key elements were not there they should have seen that it was just an excitement tactics to stop the cry of pain for economic well being. When the tactics succeeded it prevented much opposition to the decision made by supreme court and further challenges. I would say the strategist at the president office who initiated this tactics was a very smart political scientist. I hope to get him or her on my campaign very soon when the NDC is out of government.
