I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

It was announced a few weeks back that the BNI had summoned Former Deputy High Commissioner to India, Mr Kwaku Ampratwum Sarpong to be queried on his bizarre role in the import of rice from India in 2007. That fraudulent deal alone cost the nation over four million dollars. A foreign minister Kwesi Osei adjei who was also questioned in connection with same rice imports together with a former Information minister Stephen Asamoah Boateng are all walking around freely without prosecution while the masses suffered high commodity prices. The sad part is some of these crooked politicians carry along with them British passports, claiming citizenship and travel at will in pursuit of their crooked dealings. My question therefore is : How could such diplomats representing Ghana become British citizens while serving this country as diplomatic emissaries ? All they heard I guess was that the sale price could be fixed for the future forgetting that there was the possibility of forcing them to sell at that price if the market price is way higher than the predetermined price - What was oil prices at the time that they had to exercise the put option? Bad advice indeed! Too many variables: we couldn't control the market price, oil production may be questionable (naked or covered puts?) yet we went ahead with it!

"In breach of those duties, from 1996 onwards, Societe Generale advised GNPC to enter into several hundreds of transactions on the oil options and future markets in implementation of the strategy recommended by the Bank, despite being aware that GNPC did not have the technical expertise to assess the merits of the strategy and of each of the recommended transactions.

Mr. Tsikata’s document insisted that Societe Generale knew that GNPC did not have the technical expertise to assess the degree of risk involved in the strategy or in relation to each of the recommended transactions." Options trading is a serious and risky business. If there were no experts or people who understood the strategy, why pursue it? At the time that any CEO accepts to proceed with any recommendation(s), you are accepting responsibility for the outcome. Buying a Put Options that allows you to sell Oil at a given or predetermined price in the future is risky - you lose the premium if at the said time oil prices are higher than your exercise price!. If GNPC did not understand the strategy, they shouldn't have gone for it period!

Instead we have two parties with all of Ghana's so-called political party elite and educated elite busy bickering without taking a step back to assess. Ghana is supposed to be an independent nation irrespective of their membership in the commonwealth. Yet everything done in Ghana has to be approved by their lordships in the UK.
For starters, did the contract between GNPC and SG get negotiated and signed before a British Court? Did the courts in UK have jurisdiction over SG and or Ghana's GNPC? How did SG end up filing breach of contract or nonpayment of services in the courts in the UK if SG has previously lost two of their frivolous claims against GNPC in other foreign nations? Why did Kufour and or his ministers think they have to go to the UK to sell, and or open an account in the UK? Why did Ken Dapaah and or K. T. Hammond have to travel through Europe seeking to resolve issues with SG on behalf of Ghana? A look at these events and other royal screwing of Ghana's tax payers can be found to have come at the hands of politicians and educated elite class majority of whom had their university and or post secondary education in the UK They’ve been rendered useless and lost the Ghanaian national pride and thus continue to bow to everything master says. This is not the fault of UK but the fault of the slave era chains still wound around the brains of ex-slave nations pretending to be free.
Readers should explain how the very UK courts and financial institutions would allow Ghana's politicians to screw Ghana in the UK by engaging in any and all acts of foolishness and sabotage when the UK government knows very well those engaged in harmful deals do not have rights under the laws of Ghana to do so. Was it not an ex-Minister who sued the Ghana government in the UK? How many UK citizens, political and educated elite and or commoners have sued UK citizen or corporate entity in Ghanaian courts? We do allow the NPP and NDC crabs to humiliate Ghana and soil the very name and or essence of being a Ghanaian and yet have fools in the NPP and NDC pretend to give a darn about Ghana.
Where are all these documents coming from and why were they not available when Tsikata was being vilified by the Kufour administration? Why did Nana Akufo-Addo and or Kufour both graduates of UK universities no know their way around UK to obtain documents to certify their claim against Tsikata or SG? Efforts by Tsikata is what helped to bring oil discovery in Ghana. I quite remember the statement made by Sam Jonah, the CEO of the Ashanti Gold Field, and I quote ''the oil find in Ghana can not be mentioned without making reference to the efforts of Tsikata''.

Hatred could let somebody called Tsikata a bad man, but in reality he did much for Ghana when oil is mentioned, that is great.

The whole Ghana is aware of his intelligence and good efforts in the area of education, which motivated him to do his best for the oil discovery. When it comes to law, he can be described as a law expert.
