I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

'All die be die' mantra (which has been grossly misconstrued)is the embodiment of fearlessness and courage to fight cheating and political injustice like what brought NDC to power. Madiba stood for 'all die be die', as he was courageous and did not fear the consequences of his actions, in the face of possible execution by the white oppressors at the time. 'All die be die' has just been taken out of context to the toast of the ignorant by the political opportunists. Remember Franz Fanon and his book 'Wretched of the Earth'? I challenge you to read this book. Think twice, think honestly, and don't be judgmental based on hatred and bitterness. God Bless Ghana.

The bewildered president will do no such thing and slams the door.

The next day, the man is back, waving a clipboard under the great man's nose, gesturing to a truckload of brake pads and insisting, "You sign, you sign!"

Nelson gets rid of the man again, but next day he's back with two truckloads of car parts, once again insisting that the president sign for the goods.

Mandela loses his temper and yells, "Look, I don't want these. Do you understand? You have the wrong person."

Puzzled, the Ghanaian man consults his clipboard and asks, "Ah soh. You not Nissan Main dealer?"

He used his term in office to build an enduring one-nation platform of stability to guarantee the progress of his nation. The challenge now is how leaders after him can build on the platform that Mandela built to create a real and expanding free society of opportunities and prosperity for every South African. Mandela stayed on, even out of office, to use his statesmanship to support the reconstruction of South Africa until retiring from active politics at the age of 85.

When I think of Nelson Mandela, I think of the values that a leader must have: compassion, conviction, integrity, sincerity, generosity, loyalty, dignity and humility. Those are values that are earned from one’s actions and not just one’s words. Mandela held with remarkable consistency a very high ethical standard of behaving in line with these values.

Mandela has been a great inspiration to members of my generation. True to his Xhosa name ‘Rolihalah’, which means ‘shaker of trees’ or ‘troublemaker’, Mandela was relentless in his courage and conviction to cause trouble for those who caused trouble to humanity. Born into royalty, and having the benefit of education, he used his privileges, especially as a lawyer, not for self-gain but to serve his people.

So why are others NOT HUMBLE enough???

He displayed humility, love aspiration, he lacked bitterness, love for his people, respect for all irrespective of their differences, no tribalism, he did not force himself on his people to be the president whatever it would take, he didn't just talk about forgiveness but he displayed it to the rest of the world and above all, he loved and put SOUTH AFRICA 1st and NOT the ANC, 1ST. That's was done strictly as a counter to Nkrumah's declaration of 'Independence of Ghana was meaningless unless it was linked to the total liberation of Africa as a whole'. Note this is just a phrase at best! In the nutshell, NPP supported Apartheid government in South African at the expense of our beloved Nelson Mandela.
