A 34-year-old man at Faaman near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region had his penis bitten by a snake while attending to nature’s call.

Kwabena Nkrumah was attending to nature’s call at a public toilet facility in a deplorable state at Faaman when he suddenly felt a sharp pain at the tip of his manhood.

When he starred deep into the toilet, Nkrumah, who is a porter, nearly collapsed as he saw a big black snake which was about to pounce on his dangling manhood once again.

The man then shouted for help and jumped from harm’s way to a place on the toilet where the snake could not reach him, Mallam Yahaya of Kessben FM said.

According to him, the incident occurred around 10:00 am on Wednesday, adding that Nkrumah’s sudden wail for help, caused panic and fear among other people who were also attending to nature’s call.

He said Nkrumah’s shouts of “snake, snake, snake,” intensified the panic among the people as they ran helter-skelter without even cleaning themselves to avert being hurt by the serpent.

Mallam Yahaya said Nkrumah reported to the people that he had, indeed, been bitten at the tip of his penis by the black snake, complaining further that he was feeling severe pain at the tip of his manhood.

He said the people around hurriedly rushed Nkrumah, who was feeling a bit dizzy, to the hospital where he was treated. Nkrumah had since been discharged from the medical facility.

Recounting his horrific experience on Kessben FMs ‘Breaking News’ programme, Nkrumah told Ali Baba, host of the show that, he initially thought the pain he felt was normal until he saw the black snake lying just beneath him. He noted that he started shivering and yelled for help. He however said he was now feeling better.

Ghanaian Prostitution Flood TurkeySome Ghanaian ladies residing in Turkey are allegedly engaging in prostitution to make a living, unconfirmed reports reaching Ghana’s Embassy in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, indicate.

Alhaji Abass Ibrahim, Ghana’s Ambassador to Turkey, has told DAILY GUIDE exclusively that his outfit had been receiving several complaints about some Ghana ladies engaging in prostitution.

Alhaji Abass insisted that the Ghana Embassy in Turkey could not confirm the speculations, saying “this is just rumours going round.”

However, he said, those who have been complaining about the alleged bad conduct of the women, lamented that the ladies were tarnishing Ghana’s image in Turkey, so his office should intervene.

Though he could not confirm the speculations, the Ambassador took the opportunity to admonish Ghanaian women in Turkey to live acceptable lifestyles to promote Ghana’s image, positively.

Alhaji Abass also charged all Ghanaians living in Turkey, notably the men, to conform to the laws of their host country so that they would stay away from trouble.

Touching on the business opportunities that abound in Turkey, he said “Turkey is now a big economy on the globe, as it produces different types of goods of high quality but their prices are affordable”.

He again encouraged Ghanaian businessmen to turn to Turkey to do business.

To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

The bewildered president will do no such thing and slams the door.

The next day, the man is back, waving a clipboard under the great man's nose, gesturing to a truckload of brake pads and insisting, "You sign, you sign!"

Nelson gets rid of the man again, but next day he's back with two truckloads of car parts, once again insisting that the president sign for the goods.

Mandela loses his temper and yells, "Look, I don't want these. Do you understand? You have the wrong person."

Puzzled, the Japanese man consults his clipboard and asks, "Ah soh. You not Nissan Main dealer?"

He is an opportunist like most men in Ghana politics. There are many ways he can enhance himself to the people of Ghana. It’s not always politics. He tried and the people of Ghana have said ‘NO’ a couple of times. He can use whatever energy or clout he has left to do something positive outside of politics like helping the needy or under privilege and that could raise his status. Politics or being the leader of Ghana is not an enviable position. There have been many Ghanaians who performed wonderfully in their own quiet ways outside of politics and have not asked for or received credit but are known by whoever they have touched. Ghana has not had many good leaders with vision. This can be counted on my thumb. Most Ghanaians go into politics to make themselves rich…….please never ever compare Mandela to Akufo-Addo……

Nana is NPP's best candidate and Ghana's best hope to lead the country unto paths of great progress for all Ghanaians. After exposing the EC and the NDC is their fraudulent election activities, his popularity has soared to unimaginable heights. Let all well-meaning Ghanaians and NPP card-holders support this humble but courageous man for a great victory in 2016. Great people like Nana never give up easily.

In the coming elections, the NDC will be preparing to use John Mahama's incumbency to try to cough up another dirty trick, knowing very well that their presidential candidate is clueless about how to fix the economy and that he's lost popularity in the country.

It's time for the NPP to unite and stand strongly as a family and support Nana Akufo-Addo or whoever the party may choose as leader in the coming congress. His singular act of conceding defeat in the face of a glaring corruption tainted ruling of the supreme court equals what mandela did to try and persuade ANC to give up it's arms struggle so as to achieve a greater goal. Nana's act is selfless and when the history of Ghana is rewritten,his name would stand tall among the heroes of Ghana's Democracy.Even a 2 year old knows that Afari Gyan stole the elections to John Mahama and we all saw what unfolded at the Supreme court regarding the facts of the case.
Countries like DR Congo,Ivory Coast,Mali,Liberia,Angola,Kenya went to war because of cheating at the polls.For Nana to concede defeat to seemly glaring stealing of votes and bribing of judges to declare him winner is very laudable and more that 55% of forward thinking and selfless Ghanaians would agree with me
