If he wants someone that will help in any form or shape, that person should be provided to him but no one should be forced on him. Then there will be rivalry and confusion as to what roles each person plays. We are in a tough group and therefore need total concentration to get out of the group and make it further. Any disturbances in the team will not bode well with the Ghanaian team and its performance at the mundial, and possibly leading to bad results.

Now, hanza to your request on the state of MRRA and the imposition of a TD.
If we are honest to ourselves, and not blinded by mere acts of patriotism, loyalty and fan-craziness, we would concede that MRAA actually would need help in as far as we draw a clear distinction between WC and CAF.

Help comes in many forms,they say.
The little things we say here in the forum, even the arsenal of insults go a long way to educate these coaches.
Therefore, the idea of a TC, regardless of where he is picked from
is laudable as as more convenient to the recipient.
For better life, continuity and security one must always emrace education. Education has no end. It enhances one's horizon. I think MRRA would have assailed himself better if there was a technical director to go by the name 'the Director' Remeber, education has no end much as it has no age barrier.

However, the idea of a TC which most of us initially thought was a rumour had arrived in MRAA's camp late as it got absorbed by a host of the inky fraternity.
It was wrongly considered by many as
a control gadget to electronically manipulate the coach. That is where it came into conflict with my thoughts.

We the fans, the media, even though have no technical skills or training in football, we can equally correlate with various college mandate and are can assure you are indebted with reasons and logic that can bring out very successful tit-bits.
However, someone who has the technical eye overseeing the coach in close range/contact, could be the right person to assail every salient football issues necessary to solve related problems in a quicker mode.

You keep on hammering on the fact that, all those countries that won world cup had their local coaches. Uruguay ,Italy, Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina England and Spain. Can you compare Ghana to any of these countries, in terms of their local league and quality of football?. Where do we go for our coaching course?.Appiah messed up at the AFCON 2013 and our matches against Zambia in Accra(Mediocre) and Egypt in Cairo(awful) have made Ghanaians doubt his ability to handle black stars Brazil.

In Appiah's era, there's a breather even though sometimes we get shaky as fans since things don't seem to be going well but that's the way it goes. If you want it well done, you go through the hard way. Appiah keeps maturing like wine, it's not been a smooth journey but he's done better than most of his predecessors in the last 30 years, so let's do our best to back him up to succeed. Appiah is not going to Brazil as one of the worlds best but we love him. Once upon a time, somebody coached at the world stage for the first time. This has happened to most of the coaches coming for the 2014 edition so let Appiah be.
