The man stopped; a big brick fell in front of him. The astonished man continued walking to the cross walk.

The voice shouted, "Stop! If you take one more step, a car will run over you and you will die."
The man stood still; a car came careening around the corner, barely missing him.

"Where are you?" the man asked. "Who are you?"

"I am your guardian angel," the voice answered.

"Oh yeah?" the man asked. "Where the hell were you when I got married last week?"

Mr. Thamsanqa Jantjie right now is being ridiculed the world over for "missigning" a sign language at Mandela's funeral. His "misinterpretation" of what Barack Obama was saying at the funeral has grabbed global attention. It has been described as bizarre and confused. Mr. Jantjie has come out to say that he's schizophrenic. That he saw angels coming to the packed stadium. That he has a violent streak; we are worried about him standing so close to the leader of the free world.
We should rather be worried about the disabled people throughout the world who are not able to hear and have to rely on someone signning for them in the absence of a trully universal sign language. The UN has to establish an International Sign Language. It took Madiba's funeral for this to become a reality.
