The court just ruled that, Awuni has no interest or the sale of Merchant Bank to Fortis will not affect him personally since he is not a stockholder in that Bank.

Oh! My God, your illiteracy is getting out of hand. Idiot, the court did not delve into the terms of the deal. The ruling here does not affirm that the sale of Merchant Bank to Fortis was right. The ruling is that, Awuni does not have any right or interest to stop this sale, you dumb illiterate moron.

I guess, probably SSNIT is strictly speaking not a public institution but a public agency whose administration is vested in the hands of its Trustees. Will watch with keen interest the outcome of the appeal, though the reason given by the judge appears sound in law.

In my book, a "dash" or "jala"[the haus variant] only arise in situations where 'extras' are added to items earmarked for sale that do not form part of the original Sale & Purchase Agreement,as we all saw in the Sale of GT to Vodafone Plc! Who can forget the fact that our entire Fibre Optics infrastructure was added to the package by fmr. Pres Kuffour,at no additional cost,to 'sweeten'a deal which was truly a giveaway. The laws is full of technicalities therefore one has to weigh the reasons for which you think you can sue in a case which you're not a victim, a culprit,a contributor to the fund, a
Shares/Stocks holder,and especially a trustee or a board member in the case of SSNIT,where they have a Shares/Stocks holders administration(Trustee/Board- Member).Just being a Ghanaian or a contributor to the fund,does not give you solid grounds to Sue.Even if you are a Shares/Stocks holders,the majority Shares/Stocks holder always have the upper hand.
I think the Trial Judge is more than right.
So,Mr Awuni don't waste your time to appeal the judgment of the trial court.
I'm not a lawyer,though.
