What is going on is that, the President of the Republic should investigate and show them the door, effective immediately.

There are situations in which very high state officials or offices handle collective visa processes for people on government-sponsored trips. Even independent renowned organisations do that often when people are sent for particular missions abroad. It is within these situations that the kind of visa the officer talks about happen.

Musical groups also do that, which is why Papa Wemba of Zaire served prison terms in France for visa fraud by ferrying so many of his countrymen to France pretending they belong in his group when in fact the didn't.

Do you know that the Immigration service processes visas fraudulently?

So to your imagination, why would this Officer say the untruth?

If the Commissioner of Police and Commissioner of Police (COP) in-charge of Headquarters Administration were in Britain, I might probably express my doubts. In Ghana, there’s hardly anyone who isn’t corrupt, a great majority of government officials carrying the cake. I will bet my head that these two officials mentioned in this case did what is being reproached them.

Personally, I don’t believe anyone in Ghana as far as corruption is concerned except me. Setting the standard very high, I don’t joke with my principles at all especially being strictly aware I will not take materials into my grave. I will therefore NEVER use my position for the acquisition of anything I can’t afford through my sweats.

When Kufuor came to power, some of us would have fought for his image because we believed he wasn’t corrupt. Rawlings was already bemoaning corruption in his government by asking for assistance from the Queen of England. But instead of finding a better tool against corruption, Kufuor took it to a totally different dimension with himself being in the central core of it. What makes these people different?
They, being part of or representing the face of Ghana’s laws know laws are inexistent in Ghana, and being this powerful, they will certainly pass behind doors to bribe the courts which will erect reinforced concrete to defend them. Nothing will happen.

I think what we should be doing is to look at this issues holistically devoid political leanings,because once we introduce the element of politics is going to be easier to find faults based on our biases and individual experiences we have had with both parties.
The truth is somebody wants to end the rule of immigration by the police,hence this ignoble and despicable approach,especially when he supervise the dismissal of some officers in relation to the Chinese issues not too long ago.Truly this is a fabricated and a concocted wicked lies without foundation.

When I arrived at Kotoka, a lady Immigration Officer menaced me on a frivolous issue and made a request for money. Fortunately, I didn't set on my hidden camera as I thought. Next time, anyone who disturbs me on arrival would not get away so easily.

I have known Joseph Ayienab for about ten years now he is a sincere man but I believe he was push into this business by the Director. The question I have for Palmdeti is; who engineered Joseph's transfer from western region to the GIS headquarters? I believe Palmdeti knows it but he has defend his boss because that is what he is been paid for.
I recommended two guys to Joseph Ayienaab for the US visa. When things were not going well and Joseph was no were to be found I wrote the follwing complaint to GIS:

THE DIRECTOR GENERAL,
GHANA IMMIGRATION SERVICE
ACCRA

Dear Sir,
LETTER OF COMPLAINT ( MR. JOSEPH AYINAB)
I am writing to complain about Mr. Joseph Ayinab. Mr. Joseph Ayinab is an officer attached to the Operations Unit of Ghana Immigration Service Headquarters.
Early this year, Joseph Ayinab called me and informed me that one of his superiors (The Director)has tasked him to look for people who are interested in travelling to United States of America and those interested in joining the Ghana Immigration Service. Based on the assurance he gave me, I also informed my friends who I know are interested. Two persons expressed interest in the travelling deal whilst another two went in for the recruitment deal.
The costs for travelling and recruitment into the Ghana Immigration Service deals were GHC 5,000 and GHC 1,500 respectively. Advance Payments made by the four persons are as follows:
1.Mutawakili Dramani paid GHC 3,000 out of the GHC 5,000 charged for the travelling.
2. Musah Jibiril paid GHC 1,500 out of the GHC 5,000 charged for the travelling
3. Seeba Abdul-Hamid paid GHC 1,500 out of the GHC 1,500 as a recruitment fee.
4.Shuaibu paid GHC 1,400 being full amount charged as the recruitment fee.
The total money taking from the above mentioned persons amounted to GHC 7,400. The first two persons (Mutawakili and Musah) have their passports and other documents including the money with Joseph Ayinab. All effort to get him has been unsuccessful. He does not answer my calls and the last time I heard from him was on the 16th August 2012 when he sent me the following text message:

‘ I KNOW YOU ARE UNDER SERIOUS PRESSURE JUST LIKE ME. I AM THERFORE PUTTING PRESSURE ON HIM TO COLLECT THE MONEY FOR ALL THE PEOPLE SO THAT WHEN THEY ARE READY TO CONTINUE WE CAN INFORM THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED. SORRY FOR NOT PICKING YOUR CALLS. THE SITUATION SOMETIMES MAKE ME FORGET ABOUT MY PHONE’.
At the moment there is immense pressure from the four people to collect their money and documents from Joseph Ayinab. I am therefore appealing to you to use all the powers bestow on you as the Director General of Ghana Immigration Service to get Mr. Joseph Ayinab to produce the money and the passports. Hope to hear favourable response from you soon. Your swift action is highly anticipated sir.
Thank you sir.

Upon submitting this letter and several calls, one Mr. Amoateng at the PR section told me Joseph has been arrested but refused to show me where he is been detained.Upon insistence he told me to also go and look for him and arrest him.
I doubt if this fraud issue is not true. Lest I forget one senior Police woman is also involved.

This current DIS,has indeed brought a whole lot of transformation to this service,there has being at least equity in how transfers are done,promotion are done based on merit,not the like in the past,when post are shared among some group of people in the service.He has indeed helped to project and uplifted the image of the service,hence the current patronage it enjoys.
Yes,as human he has being misled by this same people around at his HQ,to have in indulged in certain arbitrariness and indiscretions,and now the same people are agitating individuals who became victims to stand up and fight against him,as ultimately they stand to gain.Trust me a lot more aggrieved people who are been urged on by those dismissed and their cohorts around the DIS,are going going to come forward too against the DIS,making allegations and unfounded stories,purported to tarnish his image,so that the begin to the end of the police reign shall be forestalled.
Anyway DIS,not even the so called PRO,can be trusted,they are all jubilating over this,they want you sacked the same way Veronica Arday was fired.Be strong and vigilant,a word to a wise.....

This is a fake story I can assure you. I know this Dr. very well. He will never do this. Secondly, he is Peter Alex not Peter Alfred. Joseph Anthony Ayienaab must be investigated.

The middlemen don't go that low, coz it is a high-profile business with big players and high stakes involved.

It simply isn't true if the petitioner said he was collecting these monies for issuance of visas.

May be more true if these monies were rather being charged to issue PASSPORTS to people who intended to travel to the US. That is where the Immigration Boss may have some clout to influence, and not in other countries' visa approvals.
